I love sapphires, and everybody who loves me knows it. Whoever Clara, I have two sapphire necklaces, but both are set in yellow gold. I got engaged recently, my ring is a lighter blue sapphire, and I wanted something similar for my neck. I really can’t believe this stone was this price. It’s lovely, resembles the ring on my finger, and while the chain is thin, it’s held up so far and I’ve worn it through lots of showers. I’m not a fan of the way, Amazon, or any of the Amazon, seller jewelry sources, package their jewelry, so if you’re giving, this is a gift, I would make the purchase of a nicer box but otherwise can’t go wrong. ... show more

It looks nice but the packaging was not. The necklace was in a thin Amazon padded envelope inside there was a plastic bag, and inside that another plastic bag with the necklace. No box, nothing. The stone (London blue-Dec) is the perfect size (6m), catches the light, the color is rich and true to the photo. The chain seems to be well made (unlike some I’ve purchased from other dealers here) and has a sturdy feel despite its delicacy. I think it would make a perfect gift for someone special.
