Let me start by saying I’ve started trying Amazon groceries any time I can just to see how the quality is compared to my other usuals. I got these with full intentions of sharing with my family. The serving size is perfect for those who can refrain from eating more after you open these bad boys up. The look like a Girl Scout cookie and were not disappoint. The quality is like grandmas cookies and seemed fresh! I literally could NOT stop eating these things and the wife went to try some and there were only crumbs left in the container. 😬 YUMM!! These cookies are nice and crunchy with a mild pecan taste, always fresh, and great with coffee or tea. However, don’t expect a rich, buttery flavor like traditional shortbread. They’re a commercial, non-dairy-fat product made to a price point, using palm oil instead of butter alongside whey to assist with browning and dairy flavor. You can taste the difference and there’s a slight aftertaste, but they’re perfectly fine for what they are—what more can you expect for under $2.30? Once again I'm gonna rate this store brand cookie as tasty as the well known brand. I cannot keep enough of these in the pantry and whenever we open a package we have to put them in the freezer after we have 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or we will eat all the cookies in the package. These cookies are good at room temp and a good partner with milk or coffee. They have that delicious pecan sandie taste and texture and are crunchy and crumbly. Just got my cookie order in, my first, won't be my last. These pecan shortbread cookies are AMAZING!!!!!!. The bad: about 1/3 of the package were broken, but that did not affect their yummy taste at all. Delicious enough to serve to guests, but so delicious you'll want to keep them all for yourself.

They were OK, but they definitely were not the taste equivalent of Keeblers pecans Sandie, which is what I consider the gold standard but I would give them a four out of five just for a general cookie if you weren’t familiar with the taste of a Keeblers pecan Sandie.
