I’ve tried several different dog poop bags over the years, and the Amazon Basics Dog Poop Bags have become my go‑to choice. For the price, you simply can’t beat the value—especially considering the quality and the generous count. The bags themselves are sturdy, a good size, and genuinely leak‑proof. I often have to carry a full bag for a while on walks, and these hold up without tearing, leaking, or letting odors escape. Opening them is easy, which is more than I can say for many other brands I’ve used. One of my favorite features is how simple it is to separate each bag. The printing and the clear line marking where the next bag begins make it effortless to pull and tear along the perforation. The included dispenser also works smoothly and clips securely to the leash. The only downside is that the bags are made from HDPE and aren’t biodegradable. I’ve tried biodegradable options before, but they were frustrating to use—hard to open, hard to separate, and not nearly as durable. Because of that, I’ve stuck with these Amazon Basics bags for their reliability, ease of use, and unbeatable price. Overall, these bags deliver exactly what I need with no fuss.
