  • Great buy!
Perfect for my switch! The case is very sturdy and fit my switch with its silicone case on it. I like how theres an extra layer on it that covers the screen and secures the device so it doesn't bounce around during travel!

  • Good value
If you cut out all the stuff on the inside, you can stuff a sega Game gear in side. Which it why I bought i for. Great for that an other things I’m sure. Maybe a sega nomad will fit too

  • Amazon Basics Universal Nintendo Switch Case with 12 Game Card Slots
This switch case from Amazon Basics was a great addition to our video game supplies. The case has a lot of structure to it to provide protection. The slots hold 12 game cards snugly inside the lid. The case is bulkier than I expected - it isn't the slim style I have seen - but a bit thicker. I ordered in the plain black and the color is as expected. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for the original 2017 Switch almost too perfect if you keep a grippy shell on it Perfect fit for the original 2017 Switch almost too perfect if you keep a grippy shell on it
Amazon Basics travel case sized to fit both the Switch OLED and the Switch 2 via a removable EVA tray insert, with 12 game card slots, a microfiber-lined interior, and a top mesh pocket for cables and accessories. I'm using this with my original 2017 Switch and the joy-cons attached, and the fit on that configuration is excellent. Console sits flush, no shift inside the case, and the zipper closes with no pressure on the screen or sticks. The hard shell is light enough that it doesn't add noticeable bulk to a backpack but feels rigid enough to actually protect the unit from a side bump. The top mesh holds the charger brick and a couple of small accessories without bulging. The one trade-off is exactly because the fit is so close. I have a silicone protective shell on the Switch that adds a small grip lip around the joy-cons, and that extra material is enough to prevent the console from seating fully in the case. With a bare Switch (or just the screen protector) it's perfect, but if you've added any kind of grip case to your Switch you'll need to either pop the case off before traveling or accept that the zipper will be a bit strained. 12 card slots is generous and well above the 8-10 you see on most travel cases at this price. For the price point, it's hard to find a comparable hard-shell case that's this well-made. An even shallower interior tray option, or a Switch-with-shell-friendly variant, would make this work for grip cover/cases that have a bit more shape to them. ... show more

  • Great Quality and Value
This Nintendo Switch case is simple, sturdy, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The hard shell feels durable and gives me confidence that my Switch is well protected when I’m traveling or just storing it in a bag. The interior is nicely designed, with a snug fit for the console and enough padding to keep everything secure. I also really like the 12 game card slots—it’s super convenient to keep my favorite games all in one place instead of scattered around. The zipper feels solid and smooth, and the overall size is compact enough to easily carry without being bulky. It works well with my Switch OLED and feels like a reliable everyday travel case. Overall, it’s a great, no-frills option that protects your console and keeps your games organized. Definitely a solid value for the price. ... show more

  • Really nice, functional little case that is excellent for travel!! Fits older AND new Switch units!
Ordered this to use as a travel case for our Switch instead of the tomtoc case which is typically where it's kept. I love that tomtoc case - it's great for every day transport or keeping it stored at home. But for travel - especially when going to Europe or somewhere that really needs you to pack a little lighter...it just takes up too much space. So, I wanted something that would do the job but not take up quite so much space in my travel bag since I already have an iPad, MacBook Pro, sometimes a second portable monitor, etc. Every little inch of space truly matters! This case has met that need beautifully - it is fantastic!! Very minimalist which is just what I wanted BUT it offers the Switch excellent protection on all sides, it has a nice amount of slots for the games, a pocket for cords, etc - AND it closes slim and small, taking up no more room than a pencil case (I have one of those too to accommodate, ha ha). It fits BOTH an older Switch and a new one, the padded interior keeps your screen very well protected, and you have room left over for little accessories etc in the pocket, which is nicely stitched and feels very secure. For $14.29 (the price as of this writing) you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer/better case than this which offers THIS level of protection, truly. It's worth every penny and then some and should last you a long time. Highly recommend!! ... show more

  • Good Case But Fit Is a Little Loose for the Switch 2
I received this Amazon Basics case for my son’s Nintendo Switch 2 and overall it gets the job done. Appearance-wise it’s clean and sleek in all black — nothing flashy but looks solid and protective. Quality is genuinely good for a basic case; the zipper feels smooth, the interior lining is soft, and the 12 game card slots are a nice practical touch that keeps everything organized. Size-wise it fits the Switch 2 but not as snugly as I’d like — there’s a little more wiggle room than expected, so it doesn’t feel like a true custom fit for the newer console. Weight and sturdiness are both good — it’s lightweight enough to toss in a bag without adding bulk but feels durable enough to handle daily use. Durability looks promising; the exterior material feels scratch and scuff resistant. For the Switch OLED it would likely fit more precisely, but for the Switch 2 just know there’s a slight looseness to it. Still a functional, no-fuss case that works well for travel and storage. ... show more
