It is frustrating when you buy what are ock out curtains and then they don't work or don't tell you the blockout panel is a seperate purchase to the curtain. Thankfully this is not the case with these they are very effective sun blockers with the white panel to help reflect the sun and heat. Also appreciate the choice in colors and worth the price for what you receive. My only issue is that a previous purchase of the same brand without blackout feature worked good for the width of the window but when buying the same brand that are blockout function, they are a couple inches more narrow and as such there is a sliver of light that comes in on one side of the window so I have had to purchase another set to add to what is already hanging. ... show more

This is the second pair I have purchased. They DO block the light, have a nice heavy drapery feel. I put little hanging rings on mine to be able to easily open and shut, just slide them. ;) Thanks for these quality drapes! Oh and the price is a fair price too.

We have tried 3 brands and were resigned to just having to use 2 sets at a time to keep our rooms dark enough for Baby to nap. When I tried these I was pleasantly surprised and love them! We did tack them into place along the sides but plan to add small velcro tabs to help keep them in place better.
