Blackout 90% of lights and def not wrinkle free. Very hard to iron for sure. Never wash it yet, hopefully it will last for a while. But For the price, I think it is worthy. The color is true to color BTW.

I bought these to replace old, fraying curtains that just barely covered my window. These AmazonBasics Room-Darkening Blackout Curtains were so inexpensive, that I thought I would give them a try. They totally block the light. The curtains still have creases in them after a week, but I'm nervous about trying to iron them. I'm probably going to leave them as they are. These curtains would be perfect for a college dorm, basement or informal office. They are basic, but I'm happy with them. I'm planning to buy another set for another room. ... show more

Has a weird smell at unpackaging. You may need to iron to get wrinkles out. Nowhere to store ties when curtain isn't tied up. Ties look like blood pressure cuffs. An attached ribbon type tie would look better and not need to be stored while curtain is closed.

These will need a lot of TLC out of the package. The wrinkles supposedly come out using a steam setting in a dryer however that didn’t work for me. Ironing works a bit but be careful backing is rubber. I am disappointed With the six sets of panels I purchased and I’m basically out close to $200. Can’t return after 30 days. ... show more
