Update: I originally ordered the beige curtains but the rod pockets were a bit hard to pull so I ordered the white grommet ones (beige wasn’t available). I will be sending the white back because for one, they arrived with some stains but also because the white color is too bright for the many cream and brown colors in the room. They are a very true pure white. I thought that I would would like the grommets better but they seemed more shower curtain like as some others have noted. This may be worsened by the fact that my curtain rods are a matte aged brass color and the plastic grommets are silver colored so they really stand out. Regardless, I am so glad that I opted to raise the curtains up to ceiling height. It makes the ceiling look so much taller. Grommets - pros - super easy to move and less light comes through at sides and middle; cons- may not match your rod, they aren’t as aesthetically appealing in my opinion, and light comes through the grommets Original review: I chose these for bedroom over other curtains because they were OEKO-TEX certified, blackout, and affordable. They are wrinkled as others have said but I don’t think that many people realize that wrinkle free treatments applied to fabric such as clothes and curtains generally contain carcinogenic chemicals. I would rather the curtains have wrinkles than a questionable chemical finish. I plan to use a steamer on them. One thing I do wish is that they had 42x96 curtains. Right now, none are available.

The Pros So I bought these because the PB blackout ones I purchased a few years ago were tough to wash, heavy and needed excessive ironing or dry cleaning i tend to wash them 2x per year. The PB cotton/linen ones created a lot of fabric dust in the room, which was always covering my furniture and floors. What I did not expect is how superior Amazon ones would be at blocking the sun and they are "Standard 100 Oeko-Tex" so it was a win win. Nothing blocks out perfectly unless you use multiple layers of blackout shades and heavy black lined curtains. My rooms have sliding doors and I am not a fan of vertical shades or of black lining facing the outside. Purchased a set in beige and I really like the shade of beige. Not too creamy beige. Bought a set for another room in light gray and it is perfect since I prefer lighter curtains so they don't interfere with other decorations. A lot less expensive than PB blackout curtains. I mean a lot lot less. The Cons Fabric is insanely wrinkled and I have a great steam iron that has always worked to perfection. I washed them first and steam ironed them at the highest setting and I could not get most of the hard ingrained wrinkles out. The fabric is mehhh. Very plain and canvas like. Not a deal breaker because they still look fine when hung up and they block out the sun. Found a comparable set at another store that does not have the cons listed above and uses the same "Standard 100 Oeko-Tex standard. Will keep the Amazon ones for now.

I used to buy this Amazon Basics 84" darkening curtain set in a 4 pack. The beige gray color has changed slightly in tone in this 2 pack. As long as they're in different rooms, the colors are similar enough. I use these curtains with rings on a 1" rod. I don't usually wash before putting them up, the wrinkles take a little while to fall out. Just enough darkening for what I'm looking for so I'll probably be buying a few more sets as I slowly replace the many window treatments in the house. I was a little hesitant at first when I saw the description about black out since I really need it for my rental property but when we tried it, I was amazed how well it works. My only suggestion; if the manufacturer can make it wrinkle free. It is very wrinkled and I have to iron it to make it look nicer. Other than it, I think it’s a good product

Hung these on a dedicated curtain rod inside another curtain rod. They do provide nice additional light blocking around the sides. Tips: Be aware that some light will still come from above the rod. I tried hanging the drapes using both the rod-pocket and the loops. Recommend the loops - I got the same amount of light-blocking but they are much easier to open/close. Washed them in warm (per instructions) before use and the edges curled making them harder to close. Would recommend cold water, then ensure you pull edges flat when hanging to dry.

These are Full Blackout curtains! Very nice quality with tie backs! I wish there had been more colors when I ordered but I love the ones I got. I now have Taupe, Beige, and Navy and they are all nice. Make sure to order them long enough to take care of any lower light escape.

Good quality but they gave us the wrong size. It still works out with a small modification. Besides that, the curtains are truly 100% blackout with zero light passing through so that's awesome. A lot of other reviews stated that they received wrinkled curtains but the ones we got were wrinkle free.

I have purchased so many different blackout curtains and so far these are my favorite. They aren’t too heavy but they still block out light. I don’t have any problem sleeping through full sun as these curtains prevent any light coming through.
