Blocks the light really, really well. There are so many suction cups and so many Velcro points available that it’s very easy to customize the fit to the window you are trying to block. I bought this to go on a trip with our young kid who is used to sleeping in dark, dark rooms. Overall, I cannot recommend this enough when traveling with little ones. PROS: It is quite dark material, it does a great job blocking out light. The suction cups are convenient and do a pretty decent job gripping (I would recommend cleaning the window before though, they stick better). The pattern is cute. Comes with a carry case and extra suction cups. Packs down pretty well, and doesn't take up a ton of space. The Velcro spots make it very easy to shrink the curtain without letting in tons light in the gaps. CONS: Some of the cups came squished, so it took a tiny bit to get them to flatten out and suction. If the window isn't cleaned totally well enough, the cups do fall off. This thing was such a great purchase we ended up putting it in our full sun bedroom window for the summer months. ... show more

These curtains have been a godsend for times we are traveling and need to block out light so our littles can sleep. The suction cups work great, the curtains fully block light. The only caution is if a window has a screen up top, you’ll have to get more creative with how to hang. We’ve even just tucked them into blinds bc it’s still 10x better to block most of the light rather than none. Also, the curtains actually fit back in the carrying case for easy storage. We have had these curtains for a couple years now, but this has been an issue since the beginning. They are great at blocking out the light, and we have used them on many trips and also in our rooms at night. The main issue is that the suction cups don’t stay up, so often we have to tape the curtains to the windows to get them to stay up. ... show more
