I recently got new windows, but have no curtains. I'm not sure what I want to do yet - curtains, shutters, or shades. All I know is, I want my room to be dark when I need to sleep. That may not always be at night. This seems to work well. I occasionally will work NOC or swing shift, so will sometimes sleep during the day. If I'm tired enough, I am able to sleep with lots of lights on, but these shades make it easier to go to sleep right away. I also like that they have suction cups and nothing that permanently gets stuck on a window. The bag it comes in is a nice touch. This also makes it good for traveling. I'd say it is an OK value, at $50 something at the time of purchase. The material is pretty good quality. It's worth purchasing.

Traveling with a toddler is hard. I am SO happy a friend recommended this to me! It is BRILLIANT! We stayed in an Airbnb and this worked perfectly for darkening the room. It has suction cups along multiple sides to work on various window sizes. Money well spent!!

10 out of 10 recommend this product. It provides great window coverage and makes the room pitch dark. I had tried another black out window cling and now only was it a pain to install, but light seeped through. This one was easy to install and no light came through.

I bought this to go on a trip with our young kid who is used to sleeping in dark, dark rooms. Overall, I cannot recommend this enough when traveling with little ones. PROS: It is quite dark material, it does a great job blocking out light. The suction cups are convenient and do a pretty decent job gripping (I would recommend cleaning the window before though, they stick better). The pattern is cute. Comes with a carry case and extra suction cups. Packs down pretty well, and doesn't take up a ton of space. The Velcro spots make it very easy to shrink the curtain without letting in tons light in the gaps. CONS: Some of the cups came squished, so it took a tiny bit to get them to flatten out and suction. If the window isn't cleaned totally well enough, the cups do fall off. This thing was such a great purchase we ended up putting it in our full sun bedroom window for the summer months.

I wish I bought these months ago! Despite having blackout blinds the sun still comes into the bedroom early morning hours. Finally I decided to try these out because of the easily installation of suction cups and Velcro. I love that I can adjust the length by folding the bottom and using the Velcro strips. The suction cups make it easy to stick to the window and I can still have the blinds over them. This also makes it easy to remove to pack if you are traveling! Super handy! These really keep the room dark and have helped tremendously so my child does not get up super early with the sun rising. My only regret is I wish that I ordered these months ago.

I ordered one pair of these, loved them, and then got 3 more pairs! They work very well for traveling with my baby. Only downside I faced is that the pairs are identical so if you are using them side by side for a bigger window, the Velcro doesn’t line up properly to stick to the other panel, so it seems pointless to me. The suction cups also line up exactly. When a suction cup falls out of the grommet in the curtain, it is really difficult to squeeze it back in. Regardless, great purchase.

Did they block out all sunlight. No. Did they block out most of the sunlight. Yes! And I am so happy I took the leap and got these for our trip! It would have been miserable without these! They have suction cups you put on the window and you can slide them to adjust how big the window is and the fabric just scrunch's when you slide them closer together. When this happens it lets a little bit of light in where the fabric got scrunched together.
