We've been staying in AirBnB's more and more, rather than hotels, and for that, these are indispensible. This is the fourth one I've purchased! Some AirBnB's have blackout curtains, but a lot don't, and when I'm vacationing, I want a cave to sleep in. These curtains get the job done REALLY well. If I need to use the suction cups, I do, they work great, but sometimes, you can just toss the curtain over the existing rod and that works fine, too (if you don't need total 100% blackness). If we're traveling by car, we bring them all with us, so we can cover lots of bedroom windows, but if you're going by plane, they're kind of big and bulky to pack, about like a small pillow. I've used mine a bunch of times, and they're still like new.

I bought this last minute before a trip and I honestly thought I was going to return it. I thought, there’s no way this would be helpful. I was wrong! It was a life saver! My 6 month old is used to dark rooms and on our trip, almost every place we stayed had sheer curtains or blinds that didn’t close all the way. This curtain was so easy to put up with the suction cups and I love how it has the cups all around the fabric so you can really block all the light out. I definitely recommend for people with babies and also people without! It helped me and my husband sleep as well!

My husband and I didn't want to purchase curtains for our apartment at first, as we were planning to move soon after our baby was born. As my baby began struggling to nap though, with all the natural light the blinds just did not block out, I couldn't take it anymore and bought these. Not only did my 6 week old have one of the best independent naps ever today with these installed (had to wake her up to be fed!), we'll be able to easily take these down when we move to our new place soon! They were so easy to install. Took me maybe 10 minutes, including cleaning the window to prep the surface. I'm so happy with this purchase!

The actual fabric of these temporary blackout blinds is very good and keeps light out. However the way these are made there are sewing lines all over the place that, while not really letting light in, shows tiny dots of light through the sewing lines. The seams all around are sewn and there are squares where Velcro and suction cups are sewn that are needed to put the blind up without tools or holes in your walls. So everywhere it’s sewn little pinholes of light are visible. It is distracting to whoever needs to sleep, and seems to give babies something to look at, though the room is supposed to be dark and boring for naps. I’ve tried to include photos but the app won’t allow me to post them. All in all this is an affordable temporary solution. But I think I’ll be returning them due to being cumbersome to put up and take down, as well as the problems with the sewing lines.

The curtains are very thick and a wipeable fabric. It was so easy to install- I did it with a 2 month old strapped to me in a carrier. The Velcro’s is a great addition if the curtain isn’t the exact size of your window. In our case our window was smaller but it works great. It looks a little bunched up in spots- but it’s behind our normal curations so it doesn’t matter to us. Highly recommend! Comes with a travel bag too so we’ll be able to take it anywhere we need our baby to sleep. And once the baby is out of our room we can easy put them in her room.

We have been using my SIL's, which is a different brand that has adhesive pads and hooks instead of suction cups. It falls down. This one, so far, has stayed up. I'm hoping it stays that way through multiple trips, but time will tell. The panel is a little narrower width-wise than I was envisioning, but it covered the windows in my son's room. It takes up some space in a suitcase, but it's worth it if it helps baby sleep (in our case, with a time difference, it definitely did).

This works great for intended use of blackout. It let no light in my babies room, however….once i put it up i realized the room temperature rising almost 5° higher than set in the house. We live in Florida and keep out house around 69°-70° year round. The room started to read between 74°-76° when i had this curtain up. I thought it was my A/C acting up or something to do with the vent in the room. When i felt the curtain on the window it was hot! I’ve taken it down now, and the room now stays about 3° under what my thermostat is set to. So just beware it could trap the heat and make baby’s room hotter. Overall it is great for blackout though.

The way our curtain rods are in our nursery it was super difficult just to put up our blackout curtains. Downside is - our blackout curtains aren’t completely blackout. Got these so we don’t have to go through the trouble of taking them down and putting them back up just to add another layer of curtains, and also since we travel often to visit family out of state these are great to help keep our LO napping well on the go. Kinda chunky and unpleasant to look at from the outside of our house, but honestly it doesn’t matter in the greater scheme of everything. It’s only temporary.
