These are great USB plugs, and my devices are charging fine, but there is a little blue light on these that is VERY bright, and disrupts my sleep. It will actually light up about half of our bedroom, and our bedroom is painted dark blue - the light from this plug still reflects off the walls. Nothing that a little electrical tape cannot fix, but it probably isn't a plug you want in your kid's bedroom if they have sleep issues or ADHD sleep sensitivities. ... show more

I don't think the light adds much value other than reminding you that it is plugged into the wall or maybe that if your phone is not charging to rule out it is not the wall plug.
