Works well, love the ability to shift the 'color' of the light and the timer feature is maybe nice for some. Only downside is, it isn't a physical switch - so if you were thinking of leaving one of these running as a security light in a room to make it look like someone was home and run it off a timer, well, it wouldn't turn back on once the power turns off on the timer. ... show more

    • Bright, but hard to read timer or controls. Fine brightness control would be a plus.
Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Bright 3. Compact Cons: 1. Can't see or read timer (or any of the other controls) when lit which is when you need to see them. 2. Non-standard plug. 3. Only three brightness levels, all of which are too much for those not used to treatment.

Have only had it for maybe 5 months and only used it for maybe a week or two since the cold months just started recently. I really need it right now but it won't turn on.

It plugges into the wall and has touch activated buttons. I have poor lowlight vision, so I use this when I need to see small details in a dim room. I put it on a table and prop it so it faces the wall/celling, and the white paint reflects enough light to illuminate that area without blinding you. It's not made to be on for long periods so it can't replace a lamp, but it's brighter and more portable. ... show more

Buttons require a harder push to function but lamp is so lightweight that I push it over trying to turn it on.

    • Hurts my eyes
I tried to use it several times. My eyes (I wasn't looking directly at it) started burning and hurt. Very disappointing.
