I’ve used this bookshelf to hold my daughter’s books for a few months now and have been very happy with it. I think it looks great, and it is able to hold books of varying sizes quite well due to its design. It has also been able to withstand the weight of an adult standing on top of it. My only criticism is that it would be nice if there were some way to help hold the cushions in place more securely, as the cushions just rest on top and are easily knocked off.

This is the greatest furniture purchase I have made through amazon. I figured it was your run-of-the-mill-whatever book nook but I was honestly kind of blown away by how nice this is all the way down to how it was packaged. No popcorn/awful foam packaging. Well labeled and directions were easy to follow. The edges of pieces are beveled and have a nice finish on it. Slipped the screw driver over the wood and no damage. I love this little thing. Highly recommend. It did come with pillows that had a weird smell. That’s my only complaint and I’m over it. Great value for the money. I added dot stickers to it to match the play room and the toy shelf I only purchased was not as nice as this nook is. Buy this!

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Sturdy, easy to assemble. The materials do have a strong smell to them though, so we placed the finished product on our porch to air out. Also, our board #10 came with a cracked piece of wood/hole in it that unfortunately can be seen from the front. If Amazon could send us a new #10 piece this would be a five star review. Will also need to use Velcro on seat cushions as they slip right off material. Overall, love it!

We purchased this little book shelf for our 19 month son. We LOVE IT! It's not only the perfect size for him (he's currently just shy of 3ft tall), plus room to grow. The shelf can hold his collection of over 45 books (and then some) including the large board books. We don't understand why there are so many complaints about it being to small... logically you check the specs and measurements to see if it'll fit in your home before buying. The max weight is 150lbs (which means a small adult can sit on it. It was easy to assemble cause everything was labeled (super organized). You do need a long and short + screwdriver (space reasons). The foam padding does smell a bit when you take it out of the box, but it goes away after you let it air out over night (same as the foam mattress you might order). We also washed the cushion covers... cause you know, we wash everything before our kid touches it (and covid). Also the cushions are loose and not attached to the shelf, an east fix with sticky velco, but we like that it's not attached. Our son likes to take the cushion of and use it as a seat on the floor infront of the shelf so he can take his time picking out the next book he wants to read. We been watching this item for a while, and bought it when the price dropped below $90.

Super cute and sturdy book case. My son loves it so much he tries to pull it into the living room from his bedroom to use as a seat to watch movies. Serves its purpose on holding books. We only have 1 book that is too tall to fit, but not a deal breaker.

The media could not be loaded. My son loves his book nook. This sturdy little bookshelf was easy to build and only took me about an hour to put together. It’s sleek and the cherry wood color matches his dresser set perfectly. It’s easy to clean with a quick wipe down. As the caption says we’ve had it over 2 years.

I cannot say enough about this product. This book nook is as good to use as it is adorable. The design get my grandchildren’s attention and draws them over to the book nook where they love to choose their favorite books and have a cozy place to read either alone or 2 at a time. The grey cushions match the aesthetic of my home decor. I’ve been able to purchase a table and chairs set and toy box that match very well. I could not be happier with this product and the kids all live it just as much! SUPER CUTE, HIGH QUALITY, AND MAKES READING FUN!
