I have shopped for blackout curtains for a while. Window treatments are notoriously expensive. The ones this affordable are usually limited to only certain solid colors and solid (no pattern). You can find higher quality, but you will pay for it. These curtains come folded and have creases when unpacked. If I were concerned about that, I would have put them in the dryer for a bit. But over time, they should straighten out from gravity and their own weight. I like the look; they have a simple but pretty pattern. They're very thick and heavy. There is a chemical smell, but that fades in just a few hours. They are super easy to hang with the grommets. I'm very pleased with their ability to block out the light. In my pictures below, one is inside with lights on to show the look of the curtains. The other is with lights out, mid-day. If not for my window unit AC, the effect would be more complete. This is Florida. The sun in Summer here is no joke. Part of the reason I wanted blackout curtains was to block the heat too. They did that too.

This curtain is great in light blocking and heat retention. The quality of the material feels super nice and soft. It does not have wrinkle resistance as you see on the picture but if you steam it or iron it, the wrinkles remain off since they’re just curtains hanging. I have them on our big window annd it has been such a difference in the house especially during the hot summers. Overall, i recommend.

These are super heavy duty curtains! While they aren't soft like cotton, they feel better than our current blackout curtains that are also all polyester, so I appreciate the smoother feel. They washed well (on delicate) and dried in a few hours while hung over a couple chairs. I'll update with photos once we get them hung up in our new house, but overall these are a great find! Price at time of review: 36.99 That feels high, but it's been a long time since I bought curtains, so I'm probably mistaken. With the thickness and quality of them, and because they do blockout light & serve as a little extra insulation during summer/winter, I think it's a fair price.

I ordered the blue curtains and it’s hard to tell but they almost look purple. I took them under multiple different shades of light and just could see more purple and not dark blue. My daughter loves the color blue so I will be surprising her with a room makeover for her birthday with painting her walls light blue and wanted curtains that would compliment the lighter blue which is why I picked the dark blue curtains. Not sure these will look the greatest with my plan now. That is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5- color isn’t accurate. Otherwise. They block a lot of light, fit a standard size window opening, feel nice, have a white backing to it so it looks good from the outside of the house. I didn’t notice a strong smell when I opened them but did immediately run them through the wash just as a precaution. They look good and I like the more subtle pattern on them. Just wish they were more blue and not appearing purple.

I needed blackout curtains for a light sleeper. His room is primarily blues so this color was a good fit. Pros: dark navy color is very nice, they definitely block the light, they're heavy and well made so should last a long time, they come as a pair for a decent price, the grommets are metal and attached well Cons: the material feels like plastic (I actually thought I'd mistakenly ordered shower curtains), the backing is white so quite the contrast if you open them and they don't hang straight, there was a pretty strong chemical smell, although it did dissipate within a few hours (I hung them outside) Despite blocking light incredibly well, I do think there are better quality curtains out there for similar prices. The plastic-like material really bothers me, I don't like the white backing, and that chemical smell isn't good. Unfortunately, these were a miss for me. They'll do until I find something else.

Beautiful curtains made with a nice textured design that looks very elegant. The back has a fairly thick light blocking coating that worked well when I held it up to light. This will really upscale my guest room and block the sun that blinds my guests in the morning (as the window faces east with nothing else to block the view). Not only a great looking curtain set, in just the size I needed, but also very functional.

I recently bought the Amazon Basics Jacquard Blackout Curtains, and they've made a noticeable difference in my bedroom. The blackout effect is impressive; they block out almost all light, which has really improved my sleep quality. The thermal insulation is also a great feature.
