Product as described. If you play guitar for more than a hour a day, you probably should get one of these. Very portable, stable enough but could have a little more ballast. Could have greater range of adjustment but fits well for 5' foot 10" guy regular build. Improved posture improves playing and increases stamina while diminishing joint stiffness for those of us over 50. Great value.

This stays in my home office and, after finding the right height for me, I've never adjusted it. I mention this because I don't know how it would stand up to gigging 5 nights a week. But it seems fairly rugged. I use it at the lowest setting which is about 5" on one end and 4" on the other. This works perfectly for me and the stool is very stable at this height. I don't know who would use it at the highest setting, but it would get a little wobbly. If the 4" to 5" height works for you, look no further.

I love the sturdiness of this footrest. It has a wide footprint, and doesn't wobble one bit, and the locking features are simple and solid. The only reason I didn't give this full 5-star rating, is due to the angle. It provides multiple options for height, but no fine-tuning adjustment for angle. Personally, I'd like it more if it had a steeper angle (especially at the lowest setting where I use it most), but it does its job, it's affordable, it folds up flat for portability and storage, and the materials are all top-notch.

The stand is stable and sturdy. Depending on the chair or couch I sit on to play guitar, I adjust the stand height so the guitar body is at a comfortable level on my leg. I rated this at 4 stars as it would be perfect if the lower position was adjustable to a lower level.

My old guitar footstool lasted over 40 years before it finally gave up the ghost. I don't know if this one is as well made but so far, so good. Sturdy and doesn't rock side to side.

I purchased this stool to use for pedicures. The guitar foot stool is just the right height (and is adjustable) for my at-home pedicure routine. I purchased the stool to use for pampering my toes - from nail shaping to changing the polish. The stool is sturdy and steady. I only purchased one stool for the pedicure routine. I love that it folds flat and is easy to store with my pedicure tools.
