My cart was delivered in April and it has made a dreaded chore much easier. So far I've used twice. My elderly mother lives in a house with about 10-12 concrete steps. She relies on me to bring groceries and other household supplies when needed. Must admit- I am no "spring chicken" with my own daily aches and pains. That said, it has become something I dread doing but now am more confident AND comfortable with this helping me get the task done. The bag is HUGE and you can add a small box below with the bag on top. The 3-wheel design was the clincher for me. I must say I love this carrier. The bag is of a good size and the cart is light weight and easy to get up and down the stairs. If I had one thing I would like to be better is the fact that the cart will roll backwards if you are like me a have to hold onto the rail when walking up the stairs. To fix this I recommend you do not make the bag to heavy, so you can hold the bag handle keeping it from rolling back down the stairs. I love it and are very happy I purchased it. ... show more

THE ORIGINAL REVIEW FOR 38" VERSION: Out of the box, my first impression is 'this thing is flimsy'. I put it together in less than 5 minutes. When you install the wheels, make sure you hear the 'click'. In 10 minutes, I've found a couple of things Amazon (and their supplier) could do better. When it's folded, there is nowhere to snap it together, the cart tends to collapse all the time. It's very lightweight but not easy to carry, unless you use a bungee cord to hold it up. The wheels can't be locked, it will slip if the floor is not leveled. When the cart is empty, it tends to tip back. You'd better place it against a wall or something and use your feet to block it if necessary when loading it up. In spite of these issues, it's usable as long as you are attentive. It (or similar product) is a must have if you live alone in apartment or dorm. UPDATE FOR 44" VERSION: I bought the 38" for my daughter, and decided to buy the 44" version for myself. After side by side comparison, I'm going to return the 38" one, the 44" is superior, not only the height but in several ways: - The construction is better. The supporting bars on the 38" are cheap (looking) plastic, they are aluminium on the 44". - The 44" is deeper, so it's more stable, it less likely tip back, you can load it up (still with care) without a supporting wall. - The axle of the 38" is actually 1" wider wheel to wheel, so it has more chance to get stuck, while the usable platform is narrower. - The weight are similar. Unless 44" is too tall for your height, I'd suggest to go with the 44". ... show more
