Very functional. Had to force the coupler onto the axel end because of mild manufacturing defect, but it finally worked. This is a very, very good quality $110 desk. I'm 6'5, the 44" height works very well with my LG Ultrafine 4K 32" with swivel mount (desk mounted). Got this to help with better ergonomics.
