Simply this - other charge about 60 bucks for this. Got it for about ten bucks on warehouse returns. Came only with supe rlong staples, can use regular ones. It's unbelibvably good and sturdy. I print *alot* of paper and make booklets etc - this is the best and the action is great for my carpal tunnel to not be aggravted. Thorough recommend, with a variety of staples as well.....

It staples great even though I'm always having to change out the size of staple. And therein lies the rub. That little doo-hickey is a trick to get in and out. The unit doesn't come with instructions (I wouldn't expect it should need them) and it's counterintuitive how to wiggle and maneuver the rod so you can remove/add staples. That's the only downside. They could easily print that right on the box top and save users some aggravation.

Its funny how some businesses purchase office items. Most turn to convenience and reputable brands like office depot or staples. I was going to as well when our heavy duty stapler somehow wedged itself together and we were not longer able to load staples into it. When searching replacement options, I kept finding options that seemed absurdly expensive for what they were. Through a small learning curve to figure out what keywords to search, I ended up on this tiny monster. I say tiny monster because it has a small footprint for the amount of power it has behind it. The lever is smooth and pierces the full 90 sheets like butter. And i LOVE 'reloading' the staples on this bad boy. The holder springs out with the push of a button which reminds me of unloading a clip from a 9mm. Best part? Its cheap as heck! You could literally buy 3 of these for the price of one from any of the big box stores. Great purchase!

I bought this stapler because I wanted to use heavy-duty 1/4” staples for a project but it didn’t work out as well as I hoped. I’ve used the Swingline heavy-duty stapler at work before for similar projects but I’ve been working from home and needed my own. This stapler received better reviews than the Swingline but in my opinion, this purchase was a mistake. The staples kept turning 90 degrees as if they were too short but the chart shows that it can handle staples of that size. I tried two different staple brands, along with longer 3/8” staples, and the same thing kept happening. It worked with the staples that came with it but they were really long and looked as thin as a normal staple—nothing heavy-duty about it and way too long for my project. Basically, the stapler would work a few times in a row and then start turning again or get jammed. It worked about 1/10 tries, which was a lot of wasted time and staples. In the end, I had to take it apart to try to fix it and lost one of the screws, so now I can’t even return it. In the end I had make a change my plans and staple through less, and had to use a mini stapler from the dollar store to finish my project with regular staples. So disappointed I wasted money on this.

Works great. Received it with a small supply of 1/2 inch staples. I ordered a quantity of 1/4 inch staple with were more suitable to my stapling chores. Great machine, rugged construction, solid function.
