The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Holy shedding!! Don’t plan on wearing black anything if you don’t have a duvet cover on this blanket! Washing consistently does mitigate things, so keep that in mind if you have darker sheets. After two months, filling is starting to shift, however, things even out after a wash and dry - I decided to keep the delicate/air dry for one and fully dry on a low cycle for the other. Fully drying it on a low cycle does result in a little more poof, but it’s starting to show some wear. The one that goes in for 15 on delicate and air dries looks like new. Nothing huge or noticeable by anyone but picky me, and honestly expected for this price point. Still very satisfied with these items and expect long term use. Note: Video review was completed prior to actual use, so performance is covered here. Dimensions - True to size on length. Short 1” on length, but not a big deal to me. Texture - Extremely soft! I was very surprised as I was expecting a cheap cotton-like feel but it’s much silkier. Weight - The best way to describe it is soft and light, yet with substance. Composition/Build Quality - Full box stitch all the way through body, and double-stitch PLUS piping on edges as well as tab for use as insert. Measurement - The description says 102x90”, though I got 101x90”. That doesn’t matter to me though, it covers my 13” thick mattress on ALL sides, unlike the $40 comforter I just bought from another company that claimed the same measurement. Performance - After washing twice (cold delicate) and drying (delicate/finish with air dry) there have been no loose threads, pulled stitching, or compromise in quality. I’m a cold sleeper and my husband is a hot sleeper. He still, for some reason, won’t sleep with just a sheet and needs “something”. This works perfectly for both of us, though I still use a quilt on top of the comforter...I’m a reeeeally cold sleeper. Not even the high-end hotel comforters keep me warm! My hubby loves this thing and says it’s perfect; not too hot and not too heavy. So, it not only costs half the price for a comparable product, it also has settled marital disputes! If it could only fix snoring... Overall this is, unquestionably, a sound purchase decision. Based on quality I do expect it to hold up well over time but will update as time goes by. I highly recommend this comforter and will be buying one for every bed in this house as well as for gifts! I hope this was helpful, and please note I was not compensated, nor did I receive a discount. After so many expensive disappointments, I’m just really happy with this product!

I have an expensive down comforter that I purchased from bed bath a few years ago but I really wanted a second to poof up my bed. It’s light and semi-breathable and SO SOFT. I am so glad I went for this one instead of spending $100+ on some brand I recognize. Plus it’s washable and fits perfectly in a washing machine.

We have always bought and used down comforters. Somehow down has always been the gold standard. But ours were getting old and flat, so I thought I'd try something different. Wow. I unpacked it, let it breathe for forty-eight hours, then put it on the bed. We were knocked out. It weighs practically nothing, which makes it more comfortable than down, which can weigh you down (no pun intended). It is incredibly warm, which surprised us, I suppose, because it is so light. And the thickness is constant everywhere. By this I mean: in a down comforter the filling can shift and clump. But this seems to hold the filling in place within each square. I can't say enough good things about this comforter. Suffice it to say, we are very warm. And very comfortable.

This comforter perfectly fit the Queen-size Duvet covers I ordered. It washes very well, as I've had the opportunity to try out multiple times in the few months of ownership thanks to a new, adorable, but not yet fully-potty-trained Vizsla puppy. Our last comforter had the tendency for the batting to clump and become progressively less comfortable with each wash, this one, thankfully has maintained it's integrity through each (and every) cycle. Coverless, its very soft and could easily be used on its own. My only complaint is that I wish I had chosen the lighter comforter. I tend to run warm and with a husband and puppy in bed with me, this comforter can retain heat a little more than I'd like. All in all, it was a good purchase at a great price and I'm very happy with it.
