These were perfect for my purpose! I needed some curtains for my living room that were more light blocking than regular curtains, but not completely black out. I live in an old converted loft apartment downtown. I have some doors that get direct light from the sun during the day and cause glaring and outdoor community lights at night that makes it hard to watch movies, etc. BUT black out curtains take away all way too much lights in this corner of my apartment, because we have 20 foot ceilings. This is an amazing option! When I first read the description I was like “semi black out?, what a weird description!” And then I realized it was exactly what I needed! So the first thing I noticed when taking the curtains out of the box was how soft they were. As mentioned, these are curtains that hang on a door and have to be touched more than most curtains, so honestly, that was a super nice surprise! These curtains fit perfectly! They are the exact right measurements as promised and are made with great quality. They are well worth the price. Honestly, I have lived in this apartment for 2 years and I have went through 7 sets of curtains… this is the first set that I actually like and has met our needs! I would have never thought “semi-blackout” curtains were a thing, but it was exactly the thing I needed! The pictures I included don’t do them justice, but basically these are pictures I took during the brightest parts of the week. You can see that light does shine them some, but it blocks out a good amount of the light. I should also note that you cannot see through the curtains and from the outside you cannot see in at all.

These curtains are perfect for my need. I will leave them in the open position for most of the day, but will close them in the evening for privacy. If I need to close them in the day, they are semi blackout (80% per the description) so they allow diffused light into the bedroom. When I close them at night you cannot clearly see inside even with the lights on. The woven texture of the material gives it a simple modern vibe. The white color is pure and does not have a yellow cast. They provide good value for the price.

I got this 2-piece set of 42" W x 63" L curtain panels for a 34" Wide x 60" Tall window that also has 2" light blocking blinds installed. One of the pictures I took shows the curtains in front of the closed blinds. I hoped that adding a layer of semi-blackout curtains would block most sunlight, but these hardly help. They are described on the website as semi-blackout but that's an exaggeration at best. These pictures were taken at noon when the Sun is almost directly above house. Early morning sun shines right in through these east facing windows. All pictures show both panels installed, so that's 84 inches of curtains to cover a 34" wide window including the frame. If you are really looking for light blocking you need 5x the width of your window rather than the standard 2-3 times the width The curtains are very pretty. They have a very loose weave and are really soft, which is nice. I am not sure, however, how they'll hold up to washing and drying. The product page says machine wash warm and tumble dry low. I would be concerned about drying them by machine because of possible shrinking. But, then again, maybe they'd block more light then? LOL The large grommets (1 1/2 inch diameter) fit easily onto my curtain rod. The curtains seem well made, with no seam gaps or loose threads. They are inexpensive. If light blocking is your goal, they would be best used in combination with other modalities.

These are quite nice curtains. The material is flexible and fairly soft, and thick enough to block out the heat of the sun, but doesn't block all of the light, leaving the room shrouded in a sort of shadow, rather than total blackness. I can't get myself to wake up with total blackout curtains, but I also hate crazy bright sunlight in my eyes when waking up. This is a very good compromise between the two. They aren't pricey, and they are packaged very neatly and efficiently.

Exactly what I wanted, my windows technically need the 84 in long curtains but I used this 63in in between two other curtains where I have a window ac installed and I wanted this one to just hit the top of the ac, block being able to see directly inside, and still have some light come though! My Grey curtains are plain but have are a velvet material so this plain white with chenille are are a perfect mix in and I love them, they look fantastic and feel very soft. No wrinkles out of the package and no funky dye smells or otherwise. Grommets are a nice and durable and also match my other curtains perfectly! Great value for a 2 pack! Keeps the sun out just enough from heating the room up. Very happy will be back for another set and hope they add a few other color options !

The color is exactly like the picture! However they are incredibly sheer and snag very easily. I would not consider these room darkening. But they are very nice curtains.

All the curtains we have had in the past were a thick rough material. These new ones were more like an expensive shirt, super soft to the touch. Recommend
