These were perfect for my purpose! I needed some curtains for my living room that were more light blocking than regular curtains, but not completely black out. I live in an old converted loft apartment downtown. I have some doors that get direct light from the sun during the day and cause glaring and outdoor community lights at night that makes it hard to watch movies, etc. BUT black out curtains take away all way too much lights in this corner of my apartment, because we have 20 foot ceilings. This is an amazing option! When I first read the description I was like “semi black out?, what a weird description!” And then I realized it was exactly what I needed! So the first thing I noticed when taking the curtains out of the box was how soft they were. As mentioned, these are curtains that hang on a door and have to be touched more than most curtains, so honestly, that was a super nice surprise! These curtains fit perfectly! They are the exact right measurements as promised and are made with great quality. They are well worth the price. Honestly, I have lived in this apartment for 2 years and I have went through 7 sets of curtains… this is the first set that I actually like and has met our needs! I would have never thought “semi-blackout” curtains were a thing, but it was exactly the thing I needed! The pictures I included don’t do them justice, but basically these are pictures I took during the brightest parts of the week. You can see that light does shine them some, but it blocks out a good amount of the light. I should also note that you cannot see through the curtains and from the outside you cannot see in at all.

Rating: 4 Stars (The item meets most of my expectations) These curtains are decent for an economy quality curtain. The grommets are installed well and don't have rough edges and they give plenty of privacy and will probably last a long time as they washed up well. That being said, they're see-through enough that I really question what the product title means by "semi blackout". Nothing about them is even attempting blackout, they're just regular curtains. There's no liner and the weave is loose enough that even without light behind it you can see my hand through the fabric (see photo - there's only a wooden floor behind the curtain). The color is even and consistent with the photo, and the curtains didn't have an odor when I unpacked them so I'm mostly happy with them. I do think though that the photos are a bit deceptive on how much light will actually be blocked by these curtains. I have only been using this for a few days at the time of this review but will be sure to update if I find anything unsatisfactory over time.

These curtains are a light weight, sheer option. The striping looks nice, and they drape well, but they do feel cheap in the hand and look kind of plastic-y, probably because they are made of polyester. They get the job done.

These curtains are exactly what I needed. The color is the exact shade of gray I was hoping for. Sometimes screen colors versus in person is disappointing but not these. This style has large silver rings for hanging. The are a really soft material and had VERY minimal wrinkling from shipping. They are a nice middle of the road weight; not too thin and flimsy, not too heavy and cumbersome, just right. I am extremely pleased with these curtains. The price is great for the quality

These curtains are perfect for my need. I will leave them in the open position for most of the day, but will close them in the evening for privacy. If I need to close them in the day, they are semi blackout (80% per the description) so they allow diffused light into the bedroom. When I close them at night you cannot clearly see inside even with the lights on. The woven texture of the material gives it a simple modern vibe. The white color is pure and does not have a yellow cast. They provide good value for the price.

These are quite nice curtains. The material is flexible and fairly soft, and thick enough to block out the heat of the sun, but doesn't block all of the light, leaving the room shrouded in a sort of shadow, rather than total blackness. I can't get myself to wake up with total blackout curtains, but I also hate crazy bright sunlight in my eyes when waking up. This is a very good compromise between the two. They aren't pricey, and they are packaged very neatly and efficiently.

Exactly what I wanted, my windows technically need the 84 in long curtains but I used this 63in in between two other curtains where I have a window ac installed and I wanted this one to just hit the top of the ac, block being able to see directly inside, and still have some light come though! My Grey curtains are plain but have are a velvet material so this plain white with chenille are are a perfect mix in and I love them, they look fantastic and feel very soft. No wrinkles out of the package and no funky dye smells or otherwise. Grommets are a nice and durable and also match my other curtains perfectly! Great value for a 2 pack! Keeps the sun out just enough from heating the room up. Very happy will be back for another set and hope they add a few other color options !
