These panels do the job in terms of cutting out a lot of sunlight—they don’t claim full blackout, and in that sense they meet expectations. The fabric is thick enough to provide decent privacy and dampen brightness when drawn. I hung them up and immediately noticed a less glaring room during the day, which is what I wanted. That said, they lean more toward a light-filtering feel than a true blackout, so if you’re expecting total darkness you’ll likely be underwhelmed. The colour is also slightly off from what was pictured—rather than the rich hue I anticipated it appears a tad washed out in my space. Because of these compromises, I’m rating this a 3 stars: they work, but they’re not perfect for my needs. Rating Criteria: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — I love this product and would buy again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — I find this very useful and would probably buy again if needed ⭐️⭐️⭐️ — I am a bit on the fence; it’s good but I don’t know if I’d buy again ⭐️⭐️ — I mostly regret this purchase and feel the value isn’t fully there ⭐️ — This feels low quality, like it will break easily, or it’s not the quality I expected

These were perfect for my purpose! I needed some curtains for my living room that were more light blocking than regular curtains, but not completely black out. I live in an old converted loft apartment downtown. I have some doors that get direct light from the sun during the day and cause glaring and outdoor community lights at night that makes it hard to watch movies, etc. BUT black out curtains take away all way too much lights in this corner of my apartment, because we have 20 foot ceilings. This is an amazing option! When I first read the description I was like “semi black out?, what a weird description!” And then I realized it was exactly what I needed! So the first thing I noticed when taking the curtains out of the box was how soft they were. As mentioned, these are curtains that hang on a door and have to be touched more than most curtains, so honestly, that was a super nice surprise! These curtains fit perfectly! They are the exact right measurements as promised and are made with great quality. They are well worth the price. Honestly, I have lived in this apartment for 2 years and I have went through 7 sets of curtains… this is the first set that I actually like and has met our needs! I would have never thought “semi-blackout” curtains were a thing, but it was exactly the thing I needed! The pictures I included don’t do them justice, but basically these are pictures I took during the brightest parts of the week. You can see that light does shine them some, but it blocks out a good amount of the light. I should also note that you cannot see through the curtains and from the outside you cannot see in at all.

Semi blackout because they are not sheer. They are not close to black out but they are not sheer. They are good quality in both material and how they are made. They feel and look like a lightweight canvas or muslin material. Light still shines through. They fit pour window perfect and were easy to hang.

These curtains are exactly what I needed. The color is the exact shade of gray I was hoping for. Sometimes screen colors versus in person is disappointing but not these. This style has large silver rings for hanging. The are a really soft material and had VERY minimal wrinkling from shipping. They are a nice middle of the road weight; not too thin and flimsy, not too heavy and cumbersome, just right. I am extremely pleased with these curtains. The price is great for the quality

These curtains are perfect for my need. I will leave them in the open position for most of the day, but will close them in the evening for privacy. If I need to close them in the day, they are semi blackout (80% per the description) so they allow diffused light into the bedroom. When I close them at night you cannot clearly see inside even with the lights on. The woven texture of the material gives it a simple modern vibe. The white color is pure and does not have a yellow cast. They provide good value for the price.
