Overall it is a good sturdy rack. The way the double hanging rods attach is quite quirky if you ask me ... they just "hang" off of the 2 cross pieces, so it took me a little trial and error to adjust the lower one to the correct height.

To handle substantial weight, go immediately to a commercial z track. They're large, (you can find a 3 footer), and not household decor friendly, (orange). However, Seville and Amazon take the prize for everyday clothes racks--carrying 50# per rod with aplomb. Everybody else? I'm old, been thru many styled with gymnasts , or touted by w*****tter or Sp***ce" review sites, and most fall short (or apart). This is the second one, easy to assemble, stable, rods don't sag, Smooth sliding. For some reason, the black ones were half the price of chrome. ... show more
