I purchased multiple sets of these Amazon Basics cube storage shelves to use as display shelving in my store. I've had a similar wire storage cube assembly for years. These work for miscellaneous items that are not too heavy - I use the old one for motorcycle helmets and gear, for example. This one even comes with 2 extra corner pieces. Assembly is easy, using the plastic corner pieces to assemble the wire squares into an open-sided cube, lather rinse and repeat until you get the whole 3x2 or other desired configuration built. The assembled structure is light and easy to move into place, and fairly sturdy. I would be careful about overloading it with heavy stuff, but it might work OK, that's just my take on it, and I haven't had a need to store a lot of heavy items. The open wire grid doesn't allow for a much dust accumulation, but also won't work for small items - but you can get bins and baskets to help with that, or even using solid pieces on the bottom of a cube might work well. To sum up, this is an inexpensive, easily assembled storage option with a lot of potential uses.

I got this as part of a set to another storage shelving unit. It has a lot of building potential, you can make big squares, long ones, fat ones, or the normal 13-14 inch ones.... the connectors are fairly easy to put on, but you may want to think about how you want to assemble it and study the connectors before putting it together because if you mess up the connectors are not easy to take off. I thought this would be PERFECT for the small space i was going to put it, BUT, it was half inch to wide because of the connectors. So make sure you measure your space and make sure the measurements on this unit is about half inch to an inch smaller than what your space requires. The way they measure the item is from wire wall to wire wall, not from connector to connector..... i hope that makes sense. I think this is ok with sturdiness as long as you're not putting a lot in it. But i secured each level with 9 zip ties. I may have over done it with zip ties. But i wanted to make sure it was extra stable because appliances dishes and towels will be used with this item. Adding the zip ties we were able to physically tell by wiggling it and moving it around that it was super stable. So i highly recommend getting a pack of zipties with your purchase for like 5 or 10 extra bucks. Go for the heavy duty kind especially if you are going to use this for heavy items. The holes are pretty big, so I'm going to be putting some plastic shelf coverings on it, possibly doubling the covers per shelf depending how stable the plastic covers are. I'm pretty sure that's all you need to know about this item.... I built mine 4 shelves high and im going to use the remaining to make a 2 shelf unit. I would be careful going higher than 5 shelves because of stability, earthquakes and all. But if you use wall safety brackets you should be fine going higher. I hope this review helps you decide. I think this thing is worth getting especially if youre in a small space. It's so easy. Simple. And has plenty of room in each square. Just keep in mind you may spend an extra $5-$20 on getting zip ties and shelf liners. :)

Well made, all metal storage shelves. Used with plastic shoe boxes to store miscellaneous collection of items. Corner connectors are sturdy and solid. I add small zip ties to ensure steel squares don't work loose over time. Same as other sets I have had for years, so interchangeable if I decide to rearrange / merge with other cub sets. Likely will buy more in future.

These are a good size for the cost. They are really flimsy. We used zip ties to help keep the boxes together, and it's still not great. Overall, I probably would not buy them again and spend a little more for a sturdier option.

this is a product that you must have if you have many things lying all over the floor that need to be organized in a intelligent way. you can put so many things in those cubes. what i like the most is that you can stack them any way you want in any combination so that you can fit it in the place you want. easy to install. price is good. good fit. no missing parts.
