I love the price. That's what got me here. Since I received this razor I've used it twice. To trim my mustache it has a nice single edged blade on one side thats lined with lubricant strip. It works amazingly. The blades that arrived are really sharp and also have a lubricant strip. I used this razor to shave my head. The outcome is a smooth, sleek comfortable shave and I love it. The handle for the blades is well made with a little weight to it. Which I absolutely love and look for in a reusable handle. It doesn't feel cheap whatsoever. This is well thought out shaving equipment that I will definitely be purchasing the blades again. I recommend. I've been using my current reusable blades for over 20 years but, they stopped making them and the ones available, if I still find them are priced astronomical. I did my homework for replacement and now I find it. Excellent job Amazon.

This razor kit is a fabulous deal. The blades shave smoothly and are easy to handle in the shower. The value package with extra blade cartridges means you will not be without a sharp razor for some time. I have tried many lower-cost razors and prefer at least a three-blade but I like how five blades provide an easy smoother shave. However, some cheap razors have rough blades and will easily cut the skin. Not with these! Even when I am in a rush and am not too careful, I will still have a decent smooth result. Try the razor set and you will like it.

I recently purchased the 5-blade razor due to its attractive price point. In terms of value, it's definitely a winner. However, when it comes to comparing it with some of the higher-end Gillette razors I've used in the past, it falls a bit short in terms of shaving performance. On the positive side, this razor offers an excellent bang for your buck. The five blades provide a close shave, and I appreciate that it comes with multiple cartridges in the package. The handle is comfortable to hold and has a solid grip, making it easy to maneuver during shaving. Where this razor doesn't quite match up to the more premium options is in the overall shave quality. While it does get the job done and leaves my skin fairly smooth, I did notice a few instances of missed hairs and the need for more than one pass in certain areas. The shave also doesn't feel as effortless and precise as some of the higher-end Gillette razors that I've tried before. If you're on a budget and looking for a practical razor that gets the job done without breaking the bank, this 5-blade razor is definitely worth considering. I have used nearly every brand of safety razor that has any adoption. I have used Schick, Gillette - the Mach 3, the ProGlide, the Fusion ProGlide, the Sensor3, the Quattro, the Hydro. I've used online services like Harry's and Dollar Shave Club. I've used multiple straight razors and bled - bled like a stuck pick, because while I have sensitive skin, I am also really bad at shaving with a standard razor, because I suck at being manly and tough. That's a joke, I just don't know how to use striaght razors, I considered "only cutting myself six times" to be a success. And yes. I did use them for six months. And man, did people think I joined a fight club. A fight club with knives. I have sensitive skin. Razor burn isn't a possibility, it's a guarantee. It's going to happen, it's just a question of "how bad?" I have seborrheic dermatitis, a semi-mild form, so I have to use very specific soaps on my face, and just generally have to take special care of my face. The razor burn makes me not want to shave, but taking more time between shaves also means the razor burn gets worse. It's a terribly not-too-serious case of "ugh, ow and gross." I have a 14 month-old cat. He's still very kitten-y. He has manic energy, and a tendency to find new ways to make trouble. So, after my recent refill of my Harry's order of 16 cartridges, he knocked my Harry's handle on the bathroom floor, un-sealing the adhesive between the handle and the cartridge mechanism. Well, great. I can spend $15 on the handle, or i can.. not do that. I decided, "well, crap, Amazon's home brand has a new system for about the same price for a new handle AND 16 cartridges." I've waited several days, to maximize the crappy discomfort of razor burn, and am.. surprised. There is burn, to be clear. There is redness. But nowhere near as severe as I'd expect. And it didn't eat through an entire cartridge - or two. Harry's cartridges are inexpensive, but flimsy in that they are easily overwhelmed if you don't shave daily. Or every other day. I work from home semi-permanently (thanks, Covid), so I don't need to shave every day. Harry's razors do not handle that well at all. I have to believe Amazon must be selling these at a loss. The cartridges are, somehow, good quality. They aren't easily overwhelmed by long stretches of not shaving (I expect you CAN, if you go weeks), they're firm but flexible, the gel strip is not decorative - it has a purpose, and it does what you expect (.. Harry's, take note). You can easily go with the grain or against the grain (with so many breaks between shaves, I like a very smooth shave) and not feel like you're risking your face (DSC, Harry's). It's surprising. I'll stick around. This was meant to just give Amazon a fair shot, but it turns out a fair shot makes me wonder why I paid nearly triple ($33 for 12) in the past for Fusion5 cartridges.
