  • Solves a critical design flaw in most cheap label printers
When I switched from an expensive Dymo labelmaker that takes convenient rolls to a cheaper Munbyn label printer, one of the things I was baffled by was the lack of a place to put your labels. Apparently the fanfold of labels is just supposed to sit loose on your desk, which is really goofy to me - not at all what I expected and a lot less convenient than having it built in. This Rongta label holder neatly solves that problem by accommodating both types of labels, both fan fold and roll, in a stable holder that can sit behind your freestanding label printer. I had previously 3D printed a flimsy version of this sort of design, but Rongta's is much better. It fits together securely and while the spindle for rolls doesn't itself roll, the labels spin on it no problem. I do wish the design had an elevated "shelf" for the label printer so you could feed from the back and get the label printer up off your desk - that would save space and make this more desk-efficient. But the current design works, it's just not very compact. And at the current price, I'm not mad about a cheap solution to an annoying design problem in most cheap label printers. ... show more

  • Organized and Sturdy Label Setup
I’m the kind of person who really values a tidy workspace, especially when I'm processing a lot of shipping labels for work. I’ve tried several different ways to keep my label stacks from sliding around, but most solutions were either too flimsy or too obtrusive for my desk. This Rongta label holder ticks all the boxes because it is small enough to fit behind my thermal printer but large enough to handle both rolls and fan-fold labels without any trouble. The build quality is a big plus; it is made of sturdy plastic that keeps the labels in place even when the printer is pulling at a high speed. I love that it’s a 2-in-1 design, so I don't have to find a separate plugin or attachment if I switch from rolls to the flat-stacked labels. The black color is classic and doesn't stick out that much on my desk, which I really appreciate for a professional look. It is light enough to tuck into a drawer if I need to clear my desk, but it feels durable enough to last a long time. One thing to keep in mind is that you do need to assemble it yourself, though it is a quick and satisfying process that only takes a minute. It does not oscillate or move, as is evident from the style, so it just sits firmly where you put it. It’s a little pricey for a plastic stand, but honestly, as someone who wants a solid and honest desktop setup, I think its advantages are worth the cost. I’d definitely buy this again if I set up a second shipping station. I’d recommend it for anyone who uses a desktop thermal printer and wants to avoid the "label spaghetti" mess. It’s a fair conclusion for a very doable organization kit. ... show more

  • Works fine
This looks great, even with my giant rolls of labels. It is slightly flimsy plastic, but it all holds together well and while you can’t drop it as long as it sits carefully on your desk, there is no problems with it. It fits the labels just right and it is pretty easy to put together. Takes less than a minute. The stick part for the center of it does not spin so the labels come off, but it does take a little power from the Printer to make it happen. It works, but it would have just been easier if the center stick parts spun, so the labels turned on it easier. It’s not too bulky, but it is big enough to hold even the giant rolls so it is nice that it does not take up much more room than my actual label sitting on my desk. It was not expensive, so even though it is not the highest quality feeling plastic it’s still more than meets my expectations based on the price. ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed for my label printer setup
I ordered this for a thermal label maker setup and it solved the problem immediately. It keeps both roll labels and fan-fold labels feeding cleanly instead of sliding around behind the printer. That alone made printing more consistent and reduced the little jams and misfeeds I was getting before. Setup was simple and it didn’t take much space on the desk. Not an exciting purchase, but one of those accessories that quietly makes the whole setup work better. Exactly what I needed. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble label holder made of good quality pieces Easy to assemble label holder made of good quality pieces
This Label holder was the perfect size for my purposes. I have a thermal printer that prints up to 4" x 6" labels and I use the fan fold labels that have the self-adhesive where the backing is peeled off. The stack fits perfectly with room to spare on both sides and I'm not sure how many it would hold but my guess is probably a fan fold stack of 400 to 500 labels at least and maybe more. This came in 5 pieces: bottom, 2 sides, back and the roller for labels that come on rolls. This did come with instructions but I didn't need them because this is so easy and intuitive to put together. I inserted each side piece one at a time by pushing it down into the slots and then toward the back of the unit to lock it in place. Then I installed the other side piece the same way. The back piece slides straight down with both of it's sides fitting into a groove located at the back part of both side pieces and two protruding tabs at the bottom of the back piece fit into slots on the bottom piece. The shaft for labels on a roll just slides down into the two slots on the left and right. It all went together very smoothly without any problems at all. This is made of plastic but it's durable and has a good feel of quality to all the pieces. Once assembled it's solid. ... show more

  • Nice and organized Nice and organized
As an online seller, thermal labels are essential, but I was constantly struggling with keeping them from falling off the shelf. That is, until I found the Rongta Label Holder for Rolls and Fan-Fold Labels! I primarily use the flat thermal tables for my labels, which just sit neatly in the bottom of the tray. But what really made this a game-changer for me is using the bar for rolled thermal paper to hold my thank-you sticker rolls. It's a super simple solution that keeps my workspace organized and my labels easy to access. What I love most is how affordable it is. Seriously, you’ll wonder why you didn’t get this sooner. And putting it together was a breeze. No complicated assembly or confusing instructions, just a quick and easy. If you’re looking to tidy up your labeling process and avoid the headache of messy rolls, this is definitely worth it! ... show more

  • A bit large, but it does its job A bit large, but it does its job
This product requires some assembly. It came with instructions but they weren't great. Luckily it's only a few parts and so it should be easy to assemble for most. The construction is made out of plastic, though most of it is light weight, and some pieces flex. The pieces don't particularly connect very tight either, so it doesn't feel very solid. The plastic is also very glossy, so it looks cheap as well. With that being said, it works perfectly as a label roll or fan-fold holder. The roll bar doesn't clip in though, so it comes out very easy, which I'm not a fan of. If you bump the holder, you could easily bump the bar/roll off. Overall, it's an affordable organizer option for either label types. ... show more
