I got these in "platinum" and these are very pretty but more tan/gray than I thought. Still keeping them anyway, because other than not being thrilled with the color, they are really well made towels and otherwise fit the description perfectly. And after all, a towel is a towel and screen image colors can vary from screen to screen. I really like these towels in terms of size, softness, all that. I wish I could have taken maybe half a star or a third of a star off because "platinum" as the photo shows up on my screen isn't the right match for the color that these are on arrival, which I would call "light gray-brown." I thought they would be more blue-gray than tan/brown/gray . HOWEVER, per above, they are very good towels so I am not going to waste packaging, labor, gas etc. on a return. I still like them.

These towels are beautiful, absorbent, and so soft. They are lightweight yet feel cuddly soft. They dry quickly and stay fluffy even after using, air drying, then reusing. I'm glad I purchased these because they aren't so thick that it takes forever to dry but are very comfy. They are large enough to wrap up in and always feel as if they're straight from the dryer soft.

First, the good things: the towels are quite soft and absorbent and feel nice. The color is good. But the problem came when I washed my new blue towels and then threw them in the dryer. When the drying was done, I pulled out the lint trap and the entire trap was overflowing with blue lint. When I used the towel, my body was covered with specks of blue lint. I washed and dried it a second time and this time the lint trap was about half full of blue lint. I'm hoping that with subsequent washing and drying that there will be far less lint. But overall, these are good, absorbent, durable and soft towels.

I hate thick towels that take forever to dry. I hate towels with wide decorative bands even more. I often end up buying beach towels because they are lightweight and have no decorative banding, just a plain old hem. We just remodeled our bathroom so I thought I would get some new towels. I looked at several brands and was willing to spend some money, but none of the higher end towels were what I was looking for. The Amazon towels looked like they checked all the boxes so I took a gamble. Glad I did because so far I love them. They are just on the edge of being too fluffy for me, but not so much that the next day they are still wet after hanging. They are the design of a beach towel, but have the look and feel of a bath towel. I have been using them for about six weeks and they have washed great. I'm buying more. I usually am happy with the quality for the price of Amazon Basics. I hope they never cheap out.

I have bought a lot of hand towels in my life and I finally ran across these and decided to give them a try. OMG, they are a nice sized towel, with a very fluffy texture. The quality has been the best I’ve ever seen. At first I was hesitant because they seemed pricy but the quality made them a good value. They have washed up nice each week with no fraying. Huge bonus for me!! I will rebuy them.

Meh they are soft to the touch but they look cheap … good value though given the price. I will keep them until I buy some quality ones. I just wish all the good reviews weren’t describing it as the « best » towels they ever had but I think that’s a subjective thing 🤷🏻♀️

I truly love all of the Amazon basic products especially this one. The towel is very thick and soft! I also love color. Washed multiple times and no shrinkage or hardness of the towel has occurred.
