    • Works OK but has some shortcomings

It's mediocre. It does heart rate and sleep monitoring, but doesn't seem super accurate and the battery life is abysmal (2 days max until it's <20% which means it won't last through the next night). It's also blindingly bright at night, and the green heart rate monitor light stays on the entire night continuously which is obnoxious and distracting if you share a bed. I like the appearance, it's "low key" and looks better than other smart rings on the market.     • Amazing Ring, Great Features for half the cost!

This is an amazing smart ring though it does have a few minor downfalls. The sensors are extremely accurate and it collects a ton of data. At first I thought the "emotion detector" was going to be a nonsensical filler, but after being in a few stressful situations I received a notification asking if I was stressed during a certain time period. Each time it provided accurate feedback and then logged that information for later review. My personal favorite feature is the sleep sensor. As someone with sleep challenges at times it is really great to see how well I'm sleeping and what I can do to fix it. The heart rate, step counter and oxygen level monitors are phenomenal as well. Though one of the few downfalls of this ring is that if you want to track a workout you have to enable it through the Zepp app compared to similar smart rings that sense it automatically. It's not a deal breaker by any means but it can be a little annoying if you forget. The only other "complaint" I have is that the battery doesn't last as long as advertised if you have all the functions enabled. With everything enabled the battery lasts about 2 1/2 days, not bad but could be better. Not all the functions are necessary so if you don't enable the stress/emotion sensors and set the heartrate monitor to scan every 30 minutes instead of every 10 minutes I'm sure the battery will last longer. Now the main thing that convinced me to buy this ring instead of any other brands I was looking into was the fact that THERE IS NO SUBSCRIPTION!!! Normally Amazfit charges a subscription fee in the Zepp app for their other devices in order to access Zepp Aura Premium and Zepp Coach Premium. This ring gives you access to both services FOR FREE FOR LIFE!!! Zepp aura is a relaxation meditation service and Zepp Coach is an AI powered "personal trainer" of sort. I personally wouldn't pay for it if it wasn't included with the ring, but they're great add-ons. Overall for $170 this is an AMAZING smart ring if you don't want to fork over $400 plus a subscription every month for the competitors. As long as you're okay with a fairly average battery life and having to enable work out tracking yourself I think this is a pretty good option. ... show more

I know this ring isn't very popular, but for what it actually provides if your an amazfit user it's actually worth the cost if you enjoy a lot of the a.i coach features and sleeping features without having to pay the 'premium' price. Especially for the lifetime membership to the premium features alone. I usually use mine before bed, I put it on it's charger when I wake up after syncing before starting my day. I find that it's decent and reasonable when it comes to tracking. I absolutely love the more 'balanced' approach for getting the averages for Sleep tracking. The battery life tends to last about 4 days with ALL FEATURES turned ON. I find the fit comfortable, and it doesn't fall off when i sleep. Imma be honest, sometimes I forget its on in the morning especially if i'm a bit busy. So it's nice to know I got a long battery life to bypass that forgetfulness XD. As far as functionality, it does what it needs to do. I love it like I said for the above points. Especially the 'free premium' for life thing.. Could you imagine if fitbit offered something like this? Or any of the other's that actually said 'buy my ring, unlock everything for free, for life!'. You can't get better then that, especially with a company that's so passionate about their products that they literally update at least 5-8x a year from what i've been seeing. I fell in love with this company after buying a 35$ Bip 3 watch.. which when all was said and done.. I preferred over my fitbit sense, and the app involved. Since then I have bought a balance, and while waiting for the balance 2, I have actually recommended their products to actual people.. (Something we all know no one ever does.. recommend products unless it's absolutely worth bringing up. Cause let's face it ain't no one gonna be questioning you where you got a sleepers ring, watch etc especially when realistically they all look the same!). ... show more

2nd edit: It's junk, I recommend you look elsewhere. Refuses to be consistent in tracking, last 3 nights recorded no sleep data. After the second week on iOS it has refused to track for 7 consecutive nights. THE ZEPP APP IS AS WELL AS THEIR HEADPHONES (2/3 DIED SINCE 8/12/25) AREALSO HALF-ASSED!! 1st edit: Became inconsistent within two months of using only to track seep. Last week only recorded 1 of 7 nights of sleep. That was on android, switched to apple and it seems to be back to normal. 3 of 3 nights tracked. OG: Comfortable, good data. Got it to track sleep and swimming. Works well so far. ... show more

The ring, when working, appears to properly and sufficiently record your sleep. There are still daily notifications about 'upgrade' offers to buy into the subscription model. Bought the ring in August and by February it couldn't hold a charge and therefore couldn't stay synced to my device. Even before then I would rate it as a modestly cheaper version of the Oura ring. The app features are limited in terms of types of workouts - it only allows for running and cycling (indoor or outdoor). And when I tried to "trick" it once to record my volleyball workout, the app said it stopped recording part way due to my heart rate readings being too variable and it concluded I was no longer working out. Still wish it was much cheaper than Oura considering performance and options but I tried it! Would not buy again. ... show more

This ring is great for sleep monitoring. I am not used to wearing any rings, so it felt a bit big at first but now its just normal. I have all the 'stuff' switched on and usually get 2 days battery life pretty easily. The app is great, everything ties together with my T-Rex watch. So far I haven't been able to scratch it up or damage it in any way with day to day use, including weight lifting days. It seems to improve accuracy on the sleep monitoring combined with the watch, but I haven't tried the ring by itself to test that theory. Overall super pleased with the Helios, the only thing I would like to see changed is maybe offer some different colors and sizes are fairly limited right now. But I would certainly buy again if I lost it. ... show more

Love my Helio Smart Ring! Can’t take most devices with mics, send GPS, cellular, or high output BlueTooth into work for security reasons. The Helio Ring fit the bill. Have been using it for a month now with no issues. Fairly accurate with my Health app (when my phone is with me) and my wife’s iWatch. Even had it snorkeling in Aruba with no adverse effects. Best part is that it is discreet and nobody knows I’m wearing a fitness tracker. Only wish the battery lasted longer than 4-5 days. Battery life varies with level of tracking features turned on.
