  • Great, would give it a 4.5 if possible
Style: GTR 3 Color: Moonlight Grey
Great watch, coming from a Samsung watch active and watch 4, my main complaint was the battery, this blows them away. Pros * The watch has a good screen, is responsive, and has a decent array of features. Edit: it actually has a ton of features, they're buried all over the place in different menus. * Battery life is years ahead of Samsung and Apple, it's honestly confusing to me how it's so much better. * Easy transition from Samsung watch as far as day to day usage, it navigates mostly the same. Cons * Not much of a store, settings are all over the place and it's a bit confusing how many different pages they reference and how split up they are all. * I don't know how many watch faces they mentioned but in reality you get 4 or 5 to start and most of the other watch faces I saw cost money. The watch face store didn't have an easy way to filter on "free" that I could tell either. * Widgets are a bit of a pain point, I want more widgets available so I can access them via carousel, there's maybe 10 total. * They could benefit _a lot_ from a native English speaker helping with localization. Functionally passable but it just looks more professional if menu items aren't just typed into Google translate right? * The dials, worst part of the phone for me. (Not that big of a deal but I don't like them) They're both pretty big and really take the otherwise fine aesthetic down a notch. The second button has little functionality aside from bringing up a workout list, which is overkill in my opinion. (edit: you can assign any functions you want to either button including short/long hold, which is nice, I still probably only need 1 though) * Brushed the watch on a wall while walking and it definitely nicked it a little bit, I'm not saying it wasn't my fault but I've done the same many times with my Samsung and the glass looks like day 1 still. * Sometimes I get the same alert more than once, no idea why, I've googled it and some people mentioned using a third party app to fix this. I'm not sure if that's still the solution but if it is, it's terrible, hoping it doesn't persist or that there's an up to date fix for it. Overall this watch punches way higher than it's price, and it's performance is surprisingly good. I was worried about a larger watch but I actually like it better than I thought I would as well. I'm on day 4 I think and the battery is in high 70s, not that it matters a ton but it's actually pretty cool to be able to use the sleep tracking feature, which you just can't do with a lot of watches without multiple charges in a day. ... show more

  • Great Watch for Health & Activity Info
Style: GTR 3 Color: Moonlight Grey
Haven't used a watch in years. But found I wanted info similar to FitBit, but with much better battery life & more info besides activity tracking. I really love this watch from AmazeFit. I chose this for the long battery life & Blood O² levels as well as sleep records & calendar. Many functions. Lots of face choices, but many have a modest price. I'm not that fashion driven, but it was disappointing. The watch performs great as expected, but more Apps you have running & if using "Always On" display or not adjusting brightness, usually cut that battery time of up to 21 days by more than half. It was a learning curve, & I made adjustments available to decrease excessive battery usage & extend time between charging. The description says "mens" watch, but face is actually smaller than several other popular brands & models even in AmazeFit. It's a great watch I'd highly recommend to friends or family. ... show more

  • If you want accurate sleep tracking, look elsewhere.
Style: GTR 3 Color: Moonlight Grey
I've had this watch for almost a year now. It has nice style. Mostly comfortable to wear. I'd like to find some non-silicon bands that aren't obnoxious colors or require you to buy 3 at a time. I like the selection of watch faces you can pick from and that they are clearly labled as being a battery draw if that applies. It has some secondary apps that I use a lot like the alarm, timer, sunrise/sunset, breathing thing to help you calm down, a pomodoro timer for productivity, calendar and text/call notifications, and a compass. The GPS tracking seems ok even in the mountains. There is a great online support and reference material out there. The app is decent but could use a little design adjustment to make it more user friendly. Now the cons. I have not gotten effectively work out tracking on this with the caveat that I have lived remotely in the mountains until recently. There was no cell signal. No wifi except at home. My workouts were on the trail or while in town on supply runs hefting large boxes. That said, the altimeter isn't great. (This was the only watch in my price range that had an altimeter.) The step tracker is "moody." The sleep tracker looses about 4 hours on the front or back end of my sleep on a regular bases and that's one of the big reasons I use watches like this. It reads my heart rate higher than it is. My doc made me track my blood pressure and pulse separately because of these numbers to see if I had high blood pressure. (I don't.) The menstrual cycle tracking doesn't allow for much data to be input and tracks periods even if you haven't started yet. I am often blocked from stopping alarms or selecting things because of the Alexa voice indicator and I've not figured out how to turn it off. This watch has a chance to be a game changer. There is nothing in it's price point that has the range of features this has. I would love to see Amazfit to focus on improving the tech on some of the health and workout sensing and trim the fat on some of the extra stuff. As many of the secondary apps I do use, there's a lot I don't or won't use. Be realistic with what you want your smart watch and fitness tracker to do. There's enough things I do use that I'll not replace this watch yet. I finally live in a town with cell signal/wifi and gyms. I will update this as I discover more. In the mean time, I will remember to take a lot of it's readings with a few grains of salt. Like stepping on the scale, it's just a number and numbers can be used to track trends but they don't always define your health levels. If you want accurate health tracking or your doctor wants you to get one, spend more for a better product. ... show more
