I have to admit that I'm really impressed with the quality of this watch for the price. I needed a smartwatch simply for texts and calls and to use when I run. This thing does all of that and so much more. Running with my daughter and her expensive Garmin watch we have consistently found only a hundredth of a mile difference in the tracking. This watch is not wear is but instead is Zepp is but honestly I don't know if I really care. It functions the same, the display is brilliant. Motions and the is are fluid and smooth. No blips or anything. I don't know what to complain about with this thing. I guess the storage isn't much. But I don't need storage. I love this thing. And if it broke I'd buy another. And still be saving money. Oh, and the battery lasts forever. I could plug it in once a week for half an hour and never deplete the battery. It's that good. Too many sports modes to list and customizable watch faces! So much for so little. ... show more

I had a Fitbit years ago that broke after a year. I refused to get another smart watch but after the wildfires, I lost every watch I owned and wanted a good looking, smart and dependable watch. And I couldn't break the bank. I did some research and found the Active 2. I went Premium to get the better glass and a snazzy leather band for going out as well as the silicone one for working out. First the good, and I bet I forget some. EASY interface, and LOTS of apps. I love the choices of faces so much, and the straps interchange securely and easily. This is a well thought out piece of hardware. The fact it has GPS is so much better than the other watches that do not. The way the OS is organized is clean and easy. The reminders to walk or stand, the wake up summary that includes hints on making my day better based on my sleep and previous activities are brilliant and they really work. I can just imagine an earnest crew at Amazfit always looking to improve. Now for the not so good. I interface with an iPhone and clearly the watch is best suited for Android phones. I hoped to get help with maps on my watch, but it seems that only works with Android phones. Also, I have not figured out how to reply to calls or texts on the watch but to be honest that's not what I got the watch for, and I'm a little relieved to not add those distractions. I am happy enough to get the vibration on my watch and check my messages, see my calendar, etc. without taking my phone out unless I have to. I have only had this thing for a few days but I love it so much more than the Fitbit. It's a better watch (even a better looking too) for less money and it is WAY less expensive than the Apple watch. Excellent watch for the price. i wanted a smart watch with a long battery life, light weight, medium size and basic GPS with a map. Comfortable and useful to wear on day hikes. The Zepp app is well designed and provides the ability to customize the watch. Easy to read time and date in sunlight and dark compared to a regular watch, durable so far, and I use it more than expected. Review YouTube videos of all the features, you will be surprised. I prefer the list view of icons than the default. Change watch face to one of your pictures using Zepp app. The AI features worked when you ask a question. Pretty cool and fast. ... show more

Style: Sport - Black Strap
The Good: I have worn this watch for 2 months now. I find it to have good accuracy with GPS compared to my Samsung phone. The sleep function seems accurate but I have no real way to verify it. At least it doesn't give me crazy durations or fail to log sleep like some other watches I have used. The step counter is accurate. The O2 and heartbeat are accurate when compared to my pulse oximeter. It has a lot of built-in features and the app is better than most I have used with a large number of dial faces available. I have all functions enabled and consistently get 6 - 7 days of battery life depending on the amount of time with GPS in use. The Not so Good: One nice feature is the AI coupled Zepp Flow that allows you to give voice commands like "set a 5 min. timer" or ask questions about the weather etc. Unfortunately, a firmware update some days ago has broken this feature and it no longer works. Also, the AI feature monitors your steps and decides to begin a workout. It cannot be disabled (as far as I know). It does give you a warning via vibration but this is too weak for me to detect sometimes (I have it on max vibe) so I fail to deactivate it in time. I really have no use for this feature and it annoys me. Additionally, the morning updates that appear every day are repetitive and basically useless and they also cannot be disabled. For instance " ... it seem you woke up several times last night ..." ok thanks I'll stop doing that. Conclusion: I got this watch on Prime Day with $20 off - the price was $80 and I would say it is a good value. It is thin and good looking and has a good band. While I don't give 5 stars on products unless there are no issues, I can recommend this one. ... show more
