Several say it is silver, the description says silver, however, on several websites, this same mirror is listed a Nickel/silver. Our remodeled bathroom is brushed nickel hardware, this is NOT nickel looking. It's ok just the amazon picture is a poor representation of how this mirror actually looks. • Mirror mounting: the only mount provided is the wire across the back, and one hang hook with a nail. That's great if you have a stud for the nail, not great for bathrooms. • To mount the mirror it comes with a wire across the back, our application is a bathroom, wire mounting is not adequate, maybe a frame mount. Why? Bath vanity mirrors are cleaned more frequently than other mirrors, this mirror needs to be solidly anchored so it doesn't move during cleaning. I didn't want to go to HD for a mounting kit, so I made my own offset mount clip x 2, each with 2 holes for anchor screw or screw to a stud. * clips are cheap they should be included, as well as two 1"x 3" double-sided tape to put at bottom corners to keep the mirror from shifting when being cleaned. We like the mirror, it wasn't difficult to mount, so far no complaints ... show more

This was definitely not brushed nickel, it's more pewter. It also had a scratch in it. I already threw the packaging away so to me it's too much trouble to return it. Maybe I'll hang it in a closet that I don't use. Total waste of money since I need the brushed nickel to match everything else in my bathroom. ... show more

We purchased this mirror on 9/12/2020. This morning my wife and I heard a very loud noise in the house. We came downstairs to the dinning room and saw the mirror had dropped to the floor today 7/18/2021. The mirror detached from the hooks that were parts of the mirror, not the nails we put in the wall. It has not even been one year since we purchased the mirror. The nails we put into the walls held up fine. The hooks that were parts of the mirror were faulty and defected, so the weight of the mirror caused it to detach from their hooks and drop! This caused extensive damage to the hardwood floor and white molding /trims on the wall which we recently painted! ... show more

Took a chance on this for a vanity mirror , but it’s really pretty cheap looking when installed. Missed the return window so am going to try to paint the frame to hopefully mask the shiny plastic appearance. Would not recommend this

The mirror and frame are really nice, but my frame arrived with a scratch on it (see pic). Also, the mirror weighs nearly 15 lbs and they sent the smallest nail to hold it up. I also wanted to mention how much I hate having to hang it up on a wire. Hopefully this doesn't crash down during the night.

The mirror part is great...But, the nickel frame is painted plastic. Paint scratches right off, leaving the black plastic showing through. Want to return but won't. I will cover cheap frame with some extra tile and some slate a use as a garage mirror. Shopping for a REAL mirror with actual Nickel frame....... ..Buyer Beware! Nickel color paint is cheap and will get damaged easy. Use a mild cleaner, to avoid damage on thin paint. ... show more

Even though the package was damaged on delivery, the mirror was ok. A misinformation is that it says "Brushed Nickel" framed but does not specified it is made out of wood and painted as brushed nickel.
