I needed to upgrade from my CNC-provided bits and I decided to "treat myself" to some Amana bits to see how they performed. So far this bit has worked well. Results are nice and clean, and the resulting product could technically be finished without any additional sanding. I probably need to replace my bit, I’ve been running it making Lazy Susan's and even my valet tray and it’s been carving very clean with very little tool markings. However, I set my step-over at 30% which takes a little longer, but I very little sanding when it’s done. I will buy this bit again.

This thing is awesome! I use it to make catch all trays and it works perfectly! I usually rough it out at about a 40% step over then go over the final pass with a 7% step over and it leaves the bottom very clean, no sanding needed!

Exceptional bit but does leave very small and visible ridge on the bottom of the cut even at 40% step over which I was not expecting. I bought this bit to use on my CNC to make wine bottle coasters.

I have the same shape bit made by whiteside and it tends to burn. This bit doesn't leave a single mark though, so I'm guessing a little better geometry on the Amana grind. I purchase many bits from whiteside and amana, but this one will be sole sourced from Amana in the future.
