I learned of Amala on one of the skin care forums I hang out with. I’m 49 years old and in the past few years, I have developed a lot of skin sensitivities (chronic hives, dermatitis) in addition to aging skin concerns such as dryness, some perimenopausal hormone acne, and lost of elasticity. I’ve been using the Advanced Firming Complex (along with the Concentrate and the Collagen Peptide mask) and the trio is holy grail for me. My skin really responded quickly and appeared brighter in a few days (yay vitamin C), well hydrated, firmer, and no reactions (yay clean beauty!) I like that the lotion comes in a pump so you don’t contaminate the product like you would dipping into a jar. Also, as a skincare nerd, I also like that their claims are backed up by clinical trials.

I purchased Amala Advanced Firming Complex about a month ago. It arrived securely packed on on time. I was skeptical at first because of the price. This product is amazing! Within a week, I've noticed my skin looked so much better. I've been getting compliments and have urged others to try this. For something with a good amount of 5 star reviews, I would love to see some actual results that it does something. I don't think I've used it enough to see anything, or maybe my skin isn't mature enough to get a good use out of it. Not sure. I do like that it is easy to pump, but if I am using their directions of pressing it into my skin, that doesn't go far and I have to use too much. I ended up just rubbing it between my fingers on both hands and applying it on my face and parts of my neck if I was able to. Then pressing. Then I put a tiny bit of water on my fingers to spread it down my neck and onto my chest some. I feel that something this expensive needs to be used as best as you can, and not waste any. My skin does feel sticky if I do the pressing method, so I don't do that anymore, I do as I stated above. I haven't had any irritation, and I do like how my skin feels afterward, but it is way out of my budget to keep on hand to get or keep whatever possible results you can get. If you're rich, then give it a whirl! We all have different skin.

This is my go to product in my skincare regimen! After cleansing this product gives my skin the perfect hydration boost. I love the natural and clean products. My skin feels so amazing after! A friend of mine recommended this moisturizer (I was looking for clean beauty brands) and I didn’t know much about Amala. I love the texture, how it makes my skin feel, and was surprised that it keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day (normally I have to reapply). Will definitely try other products from Amala!

Beauty products are really hard to review because how well they work is very subjective and everyone's skin is so very different with unique challenges. I've never used a wrinkle reduction cream product like this before and especially one at this price point that promises dramatic results. Yes, it's expensive and you don't get a lot of product, so obviously you should use this sparingly. I tested this on my own face and also had my wife weigh in because she is much more opinionated and well-versed with skin care products. I appreciate how light the cream is and easy to apply. It readily absorbs into your skin and is easy to apply and spread. I also appreciate that it has no fragrance other than the ingredients. Fragrance can be a trigger for people with sensitive skin. I found it to be fairly lightweight, but by the end of the day it can be a little oily but that's because this was the only product I used. My wife thought it was okay, but was shocked at the high price for the amount of the product. Neither one of us felt it offered any dramatic improvement over other products we use. I did give it a month before writing this review and can say that for me, it worked great but I wouldn't say it make a dramatic difference at all. But I also have seen so many reviews by people who absolutely love this brand and this cream and it obviously has a brand following. My youngest daughter has very sensitive skin and only uses all natural skin care products, so I understand how essential the ingredients and performance are for people that have very limited options. I don't have any complaints to share and it worked well with my skin type, and my wife as well. Did it make a dramatic difference in our 50+ skin? None that I could tell, but it does make a difference having a face that is moisturized and not feeling like you have a heavy, oily cream on your face. I always read the reviews before buying on Amazon and like you, I appreciate honest, thoughtful reviews that help me make an informed decision. I hope you find this review helpful!

I think the price for this is absurd to be honest. The bottle is tiny (only half an ounce). This might be acceptable if it went far but one pump isn’t even enough for the whole face and neck. Need a pump for the face and like half pump for the neck (who doesn’t moisturize their neck too?) so it’s going to be used up faster. It HAS made my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth, and I like that a lot. I will give it that. But I don’t think it’s worth almost $80. Particularly because it never seems to fully absorb. It leaves behind an almost oily, slippery layer that hangs around unless you wipe it off. This was nice to try, especially as someone who could never afford to use something like this regularly but honestly I wasn’t that impressed and just don’t think the price is worth it.
