I learned of Amala on one of the skin care forums I hang out with. I’m 49 years old and in the past few years, I have developed a lot of skin sensitivities (chronic hives, dermatitis) in addition to aging skin concerns such as dryness, some perimenopausal hormone acne, and lost of elasticity. I’ve been using the Advanced Firming Complex (along with the Concentrate and the Collagen Peptide mask) and the trio is holy grail for me. My skin really responded quickly and appeared brighter in a few days (yay vitamin C), well hydrated, firmer, and no reactions (yay clean beauty!) I like that the lotion comes in a pump so you don’t contaminate the product like you would dipping into a jar. Also, as a skincare nerd, I also like that their claims are backed up by clinical trials.

This is a fine moisturizer. It smooths out my skin, leaving it soft and hydrated. I love that it comes in a pump bottle as many moisturizers that I have currently are in jars which you have to stick your fingers in. The pump is definitely a plus for me. My concern is that the price is a bit steep. I have used this for a decent amount of time but haven't seen much of a change in my skin. Yes, it makes my skin soft when I use it, but there's not much more to it than that. I do like it though.

I purchased Amala Advanced Firming Complex about a month ago. It arrived securely packed on on time. I was skeptical at first because of the price. This product is amazing! Within a week, I've noticed my skin looked so much better. I've been getting compliments and have urged others to try this. I have a skin care routine that includes multiple products. I thought adding this into my routine would be great since it's stated to have so many benefits. I've used it faithfully for 3 weeks now and see no visible improvement in the areas that it claims to help repair - fine lines, wrinkles and evening skin tone. It's easy to apply thanks to the pump and isn't sticky or smelly. $80 for a half an ounce is a lot! I wouldn't spend that much on something unless I'm sure that it would work or I'd see some promising results. I'm more than halfway through the bottle - perhaps I'll see results after fully finishing it but if the bottle has to be practically empty before I see some results makes me think that it isn't the product for me. My skin routine prior to the addition of this product gave me the same results so I'll be sticking with that!

I love the ingredients in this little pump and think the creamy softness of it does a good job of moisturizing but I haven’t noticed any change in my fine lines or wrinkles . Maybe I need to use longer ?
