Cute little house and works well for the stray cat that has taken up at my house. My biggest complaint is that the item arrived and it appeared to have been previously used. There seemed to be water/mildew spots around the side panels of the house and there was obvious dirt on every single piece. Realizing that the cost to return would be outrageous, I assembled the house and crossed my fingers it would work (which it did). This is a great cat house for my 1 feral cat. Wanted something so he was not sitting on ground. Well made and everthing fits together extremely well. The packaging for transport need to be addressed by seller as my first one had a crack in one of panels. Cheap styrofoam would solve this issue for better packing. Seller sent out replace quickly. These look adorable on the web page, like those sturdy Little Tike houses that kids can play in, the rounded edges in the pictures give the impression of these being double walled, but they aren't. They are just about as thick as a standard plastic tote. I don't know if cold weather will result in it becoming brittle over time. As I was screwing the pieces of the roof on, I grabbed the edge of the roof to spin it around and a 10 inch piece of plastic broke off in my hand. It does not effect the functionality of the house, but it broke way too easily. These are for cats in a Florida winter, so I don't need something heavy duty, but I wouldn't find them too useful in a Michigan winter where I live. ... show more

Good grief this thing is pitiful. Made out of the thinnest plastic I've ever seen, it will break just by being shipped to you. I ordered one only to find it broken into pieces in the box. I returned it and ordered another one. The replacement arrived in the same shape. This time I pulled all the pieces out of the too-small box with ZERO padding and examined the product more closely. No wonder it kept breaking in transit - it's made out of brittle, super-thin plastic. Assuming you could even get an unbroken sample I doubt it would last more than a month with just a hamster using it. Another thing - this product is sold as being usable both indoors and out. But the roof is not a single unit and it will likely leak like a sieve. Don't waste your money. ... show more

Very easy to assemble. Walls snap into place, then floor fits into assembled walls. Then 10 Phillips screws into the roof and Voila! Took 15 minutes. All the parts were there, all of the screws were there, directions were easy to follow, and all of the screw holes were pre-drilled in the right places. It looks very watertight for normal rain. The walls are tall and have nice ventilation that is protected by the sloping roof sides. I think it is a great value for the price. It is for our 2 outside adopted cats. I live in Southern California where thankfully the weather doesn't get too cold and the worst of it is rain. I have a small outdoor cat who I thought could use this and it does keep the rain out. It was easy enough to assemble, but it's a little cheap in quality, but sturdy enough. I do wish the roof part came out over the entrance a little more because if it rains, the front part of the house can get wet inside, but I just turned the entrance towards a wall under an outside ledge and that does the trick. My cat seems to like it and I see her using it after a long day of wandering into our neighbors' yards and getting into their attics on occasion. ... show more

Arrived a day earlier but item was cracked in a few places and broken in one spot. Seems as though it was a previously returned item. The bottom part isn't an exact fit and can easily fall through with enough pressure. The roof is blue and everything else is tan; not all blue as shown in the pic. Easy to assemble. Good size for a cat or very small dog. I have a 10 lb shi-tzu and it's just enough room for him to sleep in. Will return and won't purchase again as too many comments saying it was broken when it arrived. ... show more
