I have an old house with old windows and roof and well, everything. Very few windows were flashed when they were originally installed to I find this thin/roll flashing is useful to have on hand to allow me to flash things properly when doing repairs.

This certainly is a hefty roll of flashing! So far I've only used this to cover an improvised bird feeder roof, but the aluminum flashing looks to be of good quality and is easy to work with. Appearance of the metal off the roll is clean and consistent, and the thickness is probably about double that of the typical soda can. This makes it really easy to work with, using standard full-size scissors to cut to length as needed. The included rubber gloves are both a nice touch and good suggestion, as this stuff can be mighty sharp at the edges!

Used this aluminum flashing for a small home project and it worked great. The material feels sturdy but is still easy to cut and shape as needed. I really appreciated that it came with gloves and screws it's a small touch but made the job a a little smoother and more convenient. Seems durable and should hold up well against the weather. Overall, solid product and good value.

Currently $20 for a 6in by 50 foot roll that is way easier to use than I anticipated. It’s got a protective film on it and once removed has a nice satin finish. It’s easy to unroll and I had initially though I was going to need some tin snips despite what the listing said I found I was able to cut it with a pair of Cutco scissors. I found it easy to mold but the edges are definitely sharp so I’d highly recommend the gloves. It did come with 12-15 screws as well as gloves. The thickness seems comparable to previously installed flashing, this seems durable enough and I’d recommend it.

This is a solid product. Made from high-quality aluminum, the surface is smooth with a natural metallic sheen, and the 0.3mm thickness strikes a good balance between strength and lightweight flexibility. It’s designed to prevent water damage around windows, doors, siding, and roof edges, and it does the job well, keeping stains, moss, and mold at bay while extending the life of my roofing materials. The flashing is very flexible and easy to cut with standard scissors to fit the required shapes and sizes. Installation was straightforward: I followed the instructions, used the included screws, and wore gloves for safety. Even as a DIY beginner, I finished the job quickly without much effort. The 6-inch width and 50-foot length make it ideal for medium-to-small projects, covering a lot of area without frequent trimming. After a month of use, it’s still in perfect condition—no rust, corrosion, or warping. Even after heavy rain and hot weather, it stays firmly in place and provides effective waterproofing. My only wish is that it were slightly thicker; 0.3mm works fine for most home applications, but a bit more thickness could add extra durability.
