I've been looking for this style of mount to use for various projects around the workshop. I ended up getting multiple sizes including this one because I wasn't sure which length would be right. The price seemed a little steep, but honestly, once I had it in hand I understand. This thing is a weapon. It's heavy for its size and I'm here for it. It's very mobile given the ball & socket movement. It locks in tightly and seems to hold on even with movement/bouncing. I've modified this a little to accept a magsafe connection so I can put my phone on it and it works perfect. Highly recommended!

I got this because I could remove the round mounting plate from the ball, which allowed me to attach a different bracket I had. I was not finding this feature in other units. I like that it was also a high quality unit. I found it to be better than the composite units you find on Amazon but it did cost more.

I like that you get both ball mount ends as well as the clamp bar in this item. Other brands you have to buy each item separately and the price is not as good. The strength is awesome. Clamps don't slip even with considerable pressure.

I mounted this on my sailboat for a tablet mount and it holds it very well and sturdy. All of it feels and looks well made. Although it's aluminum it has some weight to it and feels very durable. All the screws and ball joints hold very well and the whole mount is adjustable to just about any configuration. Extremely satisfied with this mount. Highly recommend!

Came in 3 parts. All aluminum except the tightening knob and the rubberized plastic coating on the balls for a friction hold. This will do exactly what it is intended to do. Very happy with this brand.

I used this as the end arm for my DIY wall mounted tablet holder. The ball texture grips very well so it stays steady. It has some weight in it that makes it sturdy and heavy duty. The different holes makes it versatile and can be paired with different types of tablet holders. A great quality product for a low price. Highly recommended.
