    • Got wrong item but was quickly resolved, unit is good.

Well I got the wrong unit shipped to me. Apparently the stock got confused at Amazon and old units were being shipped in place of new units that had different stats. So I griped in review here and got a pretty quick response from Mekiojeo offering to fix the situation through refund or replacement. They didn't even want me to send the original back. So I opted for replacement, specifically the SY01 model which has 3 usb-a ports instead of only 2, supposedly rated at 265W instead of 220. They sent it out and it's the correct unit. Thanks Mekiojeo! Tracy was an amazing representative to talk to, very understanding and courteous with super quick response time. Give Tracy a raise, she is a rare one. The unit feels quite solid and well made with the aluminum shell for heat dissipation. I have not tested the performance of each port simultaneously with all the other ports being used but so far the ratings for each ports seem legit, I'm not sure if they get truncated when they're all being used however. Like the 3 usb-a ports being 15w each I think are just 15w total. So you'll get 15w on one port, but fill the other ports and it gets divided. Though between the usb-c ports and usb-a ports, they are independant of each other in power capacity. I only take off a star because these units seem to have a little bit of inflated stats/misleading images and they can get pretty toasty just having 2 ports (65w PD and 15w usb-a) doing charge. But otherwise they work decent for the money. ... show more
