Perfect! The arm and bases are aluminum, so very strong. The different mounting hole options on the two bases makes them super versatile. The wingnut on the arm is some kind of plastic, but very strong. I was really able to crank it down tight. I also really love that the knob on the track-mount ball is knurled AND has grooves cut as well! Tightening those things can be a real pain sometimes, so that should make it much, much easier.     • Excellent quality mount that does not come loose easily. Easy to mount and use.
The mount is made of very durable and sturdy plastic with a high quality tension bolt. I use this for my Garmin depth finder / fish finder and it hold very well. The hardware is well made. The bals have grippy rubber coating. I had no issue mounting. It has not come loose on my boat and I have been on some rough water. Pros: Rock solid mount with sturdy hardware. Balls are grippy and solid, tension nut is made well and does not come loose easily. Cons: None yet. Worked exactly as advertised. ... show more

This is a useful kit that gives you two ball ends and a t-track endpoint. The t-track attachment works well, as I verified on one of my woodworking tables. The main body is spring loaded.     • Strong mount holds firmly when tight but is very adjustable when loosened.
With 1" balls, this holds my item of 2lbs very firmly. The balls have a thin rubbery coating for extra grip. The 6" aluminum arm has a spring to help hold tension when the large knob is loosened. This knob is solid and holds everything in place when hand tightened. This set can also be added to other mounts using clamping arms on a 1" ball size. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wow. What a great fit. There are two screw-down mounting balls and one t-bolt ball. The connector between them is sturdy. It is metal, not plastic.
