Love these shoes and the cushioning. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes help my heel feel so much better. They fit my feet better than Hokas, and I have several pair of those. I need a larger toe box and the Altras are perfect for me. Both brands are great, but you need to get the best fit for your feet.

I walk in these shoes twice daily and they are very comfortable with my insole in. My insole fits in easily and I still have plenty of toe room that I love. No pinching or numbness with these shoes. They have cool colors that make me happy. I have been wearing Altra shoes for years now and I find they are worth the money for their support, especially as I age. I feel well supported when I wear them. I would definitely recommend you give them a try. They were shipped fast, too.

These shoes were recommended to to as a way to keep long distance walking and dealing with chronic foot pain. They are so comfy and supportive. I am able to walk 5 miles or more ONLY because of these shoes. They are true to size and no need for a “wide” width thanks to the large toe box. The color is great and don’t show dirt while the quality is top notch. I have walked almost 100 miles so far and they are very durable! I highly recommend!!!

My podiatrist recommended these for me. I have difficult feet and they hurt most the time. These have given me relief from pain I have experienced for quite some time because they have a wider, higher toe box and because I have hammer toes, bunions this is critical for my comfort! There is enough room to fit my insole without scrunching my foot. Plus the height of the sole is very cushioning. I couldn't be happier and they are worth the price!

Olympus 2 Shoe Defect I really been loving the shoes and I find them to be extremely comfortable. My family have also been big fans of Altras in the past . While on a short run I noticed a stabbing pain at the back of my foot, About 1 mile in , I felt like my heel was beginning to blister so when I stopped to check the shoe, there was a large hole in the back of the shoe , as well as pieces of black lining of the shoe visible on my sock ,almost as if the shoe ripped mid-run. I have only had the shoes and have used them for about two months now . I would like to see if there’s anything that could be done to replace the shoe. I really love the comfort, but am disappointed that they have torn so soon. I’ve included pictures of the hole. Altra unfortunately said nothing could be done since i purchased on amazon.
