Lightweight, great support of center of foot which helps when standing all day. Zero drop means the shoe is made ergonomically to fit the natural balance of the foot. Toe box is spacious- no toe squishing! Several lacing options, mesh top for breathability, comfort all the way around. I stand 6-7 hours at work. This shoe has saved me from front of the foot pain since the zero drop prevents my toes from smacking the front of the shoe. It took me awhile to find a shoe for my sensitive feet so highly recommended by me and by my podiatrist who treated my issues for 15 months. The price is little compared to the value of foot health. Do the try before buy, and wear at home. I work in an environment where there is water on the floor and food; I have not slipped when wearing the Altra shoes; however, water will go through the mesh; I’m careful to a tee.

I purchased these shoes for walking. I wear women’s size 8.5M and that is the size I purchased in this shoe in black. They fit perfectly. I love the zero drop, the foot-shaped toe box that allows me to wiggle my toes, and the max cushion of the sole. They’re great for my metatarsal issues. Hoping they last awhile. I would buy these again.

The toe box is advertised as large. I found it wide enough, but sloped too steeply. My second toe is longer than my first toe and my third toe is as long as my first toes. They were getting smushed an got blisters and sore feet after only a few miles… Brooks provide the space I need. Probably will not purchase these again unless they create a toe box that’s slopes with less severity. I do like the 0 drop. Good for my back and my knees…bad for my toes!

I have bad feet. Bad bunions and bad nerve damage in the Metatarsal areas in both feet. A recent job where i moved fast to keep up in a breakfast shift for hours damaged three toenails from the severe, repeated impact and my feet hurt like mad every day. I discovered Hokas but the style that worked wasn't available in black nor in my size. I ordered these shoes blind in sheer desperation. Wow. The "Zero Drop" helped relieve impact on the front of the foot. The high support in the arch gives me help with my clumpy stride which is a " midstrike" footfall and helps stabilize my rollthru. My toenails are healing and at the end of a long day when I can't sit down for hours my feet do not hurt at all. No Mortons pain, no Metarsal pain, no cramped toes nor bleeding under the nails. No blisters. As soon as possible I will buy another pair just in case they decide to change the style in future or they run out. I am lucky to have found this brand and for it's reasonable price.

I have several pairs of altras but these were not it for me. It fit much different than the torrin and wasn’t comfortable. I work as a nurse and was thinking all that cushion must be nice, but I tried them on and they squeezed my foot and didn’t feel like they were worth that price. I’ve got new balances for a 1/3 of the price that have more cushion in its walk.

Correct sizing. Advertised as white but, they are a dingy pale greenish/cream color. Uncomfortable to wear as a nurse on concrete floors. I should have sent them back. Don’t recommend. I do like the wide toe box.
