Overall this is a very comfortable shoe with a soft upper, excellent cushioning, and unparalleled comfort. The only problem is the poorly designed outsole which could be a no-go for some people. Pros: -Luxurious comfort -Excellent fit -Perfect blend of cushion and what Altra is known for with its wide toe box and zero drop -Fun Styles -Quick Shipping Cons: -The only con I have with this shoe is the perforated outsole. (See picture for how it looked after one lap around my block) It is incredibly grippy, but this also makes it very loud when you are running and it picks up and holds onto every pebble, pine needle, and piece of grass you run over. For me this was a deal breaker because I wear my shoes inside and out, and when you bring them inside after that then they scratch floors and leave debris behind. If you only wear them outside, this is the shoe for you. For me, I went with the Altra Torin which I feel had all the same excellent features but with a better designed outsole.

I am an enthusiastic owner of two pairs of Altras - Lone Peak 6, and Provision 5. The Lone Peaks are my best trail hikers, and I use the Provision 5s almost every day for work (I'm a teacher and am on my feet all day). I'm sold on the forefoot width to allow natural foot splay, and the neutral heel, which keeps me more on the balls of my feet. Amazon has a current sale on the Provision 6, which has a few enhancements over the 5, so I picked up a pair to spread the load, so to speak. The Provision 6 is even better than the 5 - it has a touch more sole cushion, and it fits a bit better in the heel. Super good looking shoe as well. I couldn't be happier, highly recommended.

First of all... I LOVE THIS SHOE! I love the comfort of it. The toe spread is absolutely fantastic! The sizing is even perfect. May be the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, & I am a shoe fanatic! lol The only thing stopping me from giving this shoe a 5 star review, is it's lack of durability. This materials used here, are pretty cheap. My pair has holes, & torn fabric, on both shoes. I've rarely ever come across a shoe that I've had this problem with. With better materials, this would be a shoe, for the ages. I plan to get more pairs from Altra, because I Belk in the brand. The shoe feels great, for my wide, flat feet.

I have Fred Flintstone feet, big and wide. The toe width area is great, however, the width at the heel is similar in size to shoes with smaller toe boxes. I’ve hoped they would stretch some to widen the heel area. But after 12 plus miles walking they really haven’t stretched and the heel area remains cramped.

Good fit, good feel, toe box is extremely roomy to allow the toes to splay like theyre supposed to. I like them. They run true to size, they fit nice and snug, and its just a well built middle range runner. Id recommend them.

My only complaint is the toe crumple. I saw a few reviews and thought they were probably exaggerating. It’s a real thing. Otherwise, the expected comfort you’d expect from Altra. I will buy up on the next shoe.

Only reason not five stars is that I haven't had time to properly evaluate. Zero drop shoes take some getting used to. This shoe walks very well. Seriously thinking of buying another pair. After reading the review of the newest model I found there is very little difference between the new model and the one year old model. At $65 this is a steal. I've been paying anywhere between $120 and $180 for shoes from other companies and I think those shoes were worth it. List price for this shoe when this model first came out was $140. I love the toebox and the feel of this shoe. At $65 I certainly recommend giving it a try.
