I received this item twice--once it came in two pieces (as pictured), so I returned it and received a replacement. The one I had to return came with a bad weld point, where the non-chromed metal was rusty. They quickly shipped a replacement, which seems to be working fine, but I do worry that they allowed the original one out of their factory.

We purchased this item for our elementary-aged son, who plays the saxophone. Although he has a full music stand, we're always on the lookout for items that will make his practicing easier and more fun. He loves that he can add this to his saxophone, clip in his music, and march through the house as a roving musician. It works well and he's gotten the hang of installing and uninstalling it himself. A great addition for a budding musisican.
