These are ok. I bought 2pairs for Christmas for my Husband and I. We had only been snow shoeing once a long time ago but loved it so now that we live where it snows I thought I would invest in some. First off when I bought them they were $77 now they are $30… they are worth $30 not $77. But what did I know. Now after going with a group of girlfriends and seeing the ones they had I now know I paid way too much for what I got. I wish I could return them but now it’s too late. And I stuck with over priced cheap ones. I just bought a new pair from Costco that are 1000% better for the same price. 2nd: the clips are way too long and need to be cut so they don’t drag in the snow causing them to come loose as you hike 3rd: beware the poles are not great. They don’t have the clap lock on them which all my friends poles had. Which is why One of mine lost its bottom pole about 5min into our hike. We found it on the way down but be warned to triple check their tightness before using. I think mine might be defected. 4: the underpart has a band and not a free moving rod which makes it a stiffer shoe because your foot doesn’t move freely as it should. I only used them once, I wish I could return them. And only recommend if you are on a budget while these are at the $30 price.

Seem sturdy after two uses . Light. Straps tend to loosen a bitch or two every now and then and need to be tightened . But they are serviceable

Good but plastic clip on back broke immediately. They need to make it stronger. I am going to fix it myself. Just don't pull too hard on it. Everything else is working great and I don't regret buying them.

Bought them for my daughter as she loves snowshoes. We did not get to go since winter this year snow wise did not cooperate. Shoes are pretty nice my daughter likes them

With living in the UP of Michigan, we had quite a bit of snow this winter. We finally found a house to settle into and since it has acreage with it, when we would go on walks it would get to be a bit much to be on top of the snow one minute and fall through to my knees the next (without any snow shoes!). I finally decided to buy a pair and spent quite a bit of time reviewing the different kinds. With this being my first pair, I really didn't want to be disappointed... and really wanted to stay on top of the snow when walking, like people said I would. These are very easy to put on and I am so happy with this purchase! We went for a walk and as I was staying on top of the snow, my boyfriend was falling through the deep snow every other step. The second time I used these while walking, the snow was a bit stickier, so it made it more of a workout with the snow piling up underneath. I was a bit disappointed when the price went down $30 though the next day after I had spent over $70, but these are definitely worth it. If you have never owned a pair of snow shoes, I'd definitely recommend this pair - you won't regret it!

I really like the snowshoes and used them several times this winter. The only reason I gave them a 4 is that one of the poles does not stay screwed into selected height. Every time I leaned on the poles, one collapsed. I keep forgetting to call the company and ask for a replacement pole.

I purchased this item to navagate around our property in NJ because of the deep snow we have had this past winter. Never having worn snowshoes before, it seemed like a good idea after trying to wade thru it, crotch deep. I never had the opportunity to use them, as the snow froze and I had already made paths thru it by the time the snowshoes arrived. They were delivered in a timely manner and look to be of good quality, however, there were no instructions that came with either the snowshoes or the "shock absorbing" poles. Being brilliant and extreemly mechanically inclined, it only took me 3 1/2 hours to figue out what I needed to know. I now know that I am not brilliant or as mechanically inclined as I thought I was. While both the snowshoes and the poles are pretty simple to figure out there should have been instructions for both, especially the poles, since they are height adjustable, have shock absorption adjustments, have parts that attach and also how they should be used in different types of snow. The snowshoes should have had information on how to make minor adjustments for proper fit. There was nothing and there should have been something. After I get a chance to use them I will probably have more questions. I guess I will have to resort to google and you tube.
