There is a pocket for you to add a back protector. Bought an Alpine star back protector, unfortunately it sags way too low and it doesn’t cover your back. Wish this jacket would’ve came with one. Decent jacket but I ordered a size 52, delivered a size 50 with size 52 tags no response from seller. I assume this is why everyone is complaining about fitting. I’m 5’10 180lbs and a size 50 is skin tight would not be able to fit any armor with this tight of a fit. Would be nice to get some product support. I’ll be honest I was skeptical that this would be a scam to get this jacket for such a good price, but it is the real authentic Alpinestars jacket. I’m 5’11” 200lbs and size 56 fits with back protector installed. It’s definitely snug.

I like the fit and feel of the jacket but the main zipper is straight trash. Busted the zipper on two of these jackets within a week of each other. The metal pull snapped in half both times.

I waited and looked around for a good jacket and finally pulled the trigger on this one. *** It runs tight, so beware. I got use to it and it stretches, but it's kinda like a wet suit at first. Great product and this seller mailed it so fast, very impressive!!! Great experience!!!
