I bought this to wear with just a jersey when I'm just poking around on my ADV motorcycle in the desert during the summer so I can stay cool instead of wearing the heavier motorcycle jacket. For that it's GREAT!! I got a cheaper mesh motorcycle jacket and took the pads out of it to wear over this on the road between off road destinations. Great suit to wear while riding. The fabric is stretchy, and extremely breathable and since the armor pads have all of the holes in them, the wind passes through them really well. It's great on really hot days as even stopped it doesn't feel like you are baking under a heavy jacket.
