The Alpine Swiss Pure Cotton Men's Terry Cloth Bathrobe is a high-quality and super absorbent robe that I enjoy using. Soft and Absorbent: The terry cloth material is soft and does an excellent job of absorbing moisture, making it perfect for after a shower or spa. Comfortable Fit: The robe is comfortable and feels great against the skin. Size Issue: The only downside is that it runs a bit smaller and shorter than advertised. It would be perfect if it were true to size. Overall, it's a great robe, but be mindful of the sizing.

I ordered a terry cloth robe for my son to use after he showers. It was nice but fell apart the first time it was washed. Ordered this one & couldn't be happier. It's quite an upgrade from the other robe! This robe is well made and quite sturdy. It has a velour outer coat with a terry cloth interior. Makes for a more upscale and very comfortable wearing. My son is 5'11, 150lbs and the M/L fits nicely. A little loose for moveability which is great. It's much heavier than your average terry cloth robe so be sure to have a sturdy place to hang. Has been washed and dried (on gentle/low) and is in perfect shape with zero shrinkage. Well worth the cost, very pleased with purchase.

Buying online is always challenging, especially when reviews contradict one another. I decided to go with the Alpine Swiss even though there were some negative reviews. Bottom line, I couldn't be happier, it's just what I wanted. FEEL: Inside it's terry cloth. It's not silky soft, but it's not rough either. It's just what I expect terry cloth to feel like. The outside is very soft, a pleasure to touch. SIZE: I'm 6'0", 190 lbs and I went with XL/XXL and it's perfect. The name of the sizing is strange, I would call it "Large" WEIGHT: It's a heavy robe, which is just what I wanted for cold winter nights in Pennsylvania. In the summer this might be too warm, but I won't know for about 9 months. QUALITY: I see no issues. The seams look great. A sting here or there to be trimmed, otherwise perfect. COLOR: I wasn't sure if I'd like the blue but I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did, it's beautiful. Truly a luxuriant robe! I don't wear robes when I'm wet so absorbency isn't something I can comment on. OVERALL: If I lost this I'd buy another, no questions asked.
