This was difficult for me to assemble on my own, but I'm an older woman. Some of the directions could/should have been in a different order. It is a bit shaky, but I like the look of it. It has a nice clean look and offers plenty of bathroom storage space without looking crowded.

This unit looks great! It did take me almost 2 hours to assemble as I was only the one putting it together. Instructions say that it takes 1 hour with 2 people. I was super concerned about the stability as the bottom leg boards were pretty thin/wobbly after I completed assembly. The bottom bar mildly helps stabilize it. However, if you’re putting it in a tight space and the bar cannot slide over and behind the whole toilet like we tried to by lifting the bottom part over the toilet, then it’s a pain to screw in afterwards as you would need one of those specialized screwdrivers. It was still wobbly, but once the unit was anchored to the wall, it’s a pretty solid stable set. For those reviews that say the doors swing inward, not sure if they had installed the middle shelf with the rubber noise -softening stickers. Thats what prevented our doors from caving in. The magnets are actually part of the hinge, so the doors shouldn’t just swing open. Not sure about the durability as I just assembled and installed yesterday, but hoping it won’t warp over time with the moisture from the shower/tub next to it. ... show more

I think it looks great for the price. I assembled it by myself in about two hours. I am not very handy, so that was good. We put it in the guest bathroom for extra storage and I think it will do the job nicely. I do believe you need to anchor it to the wall behind because it’s a little wobbly.

The unit is well packaged and all of the pieces are labeled with a number. This is mandatory with so many parts. The instructions are somewhat thin for most people. There are no written instructions.........just sketches. The sketches are accurate but you must take great care to understand front and rear before assembling. There is nothing to guide you regarding "front" and "rear" and you can easily assembly the top half facing the wrong direction with respect to the bottom half. Ask me how I know. The statements by others that the unit is "flimsy" are accurate. You only get stability after you get to nearly the end of the assembly process and install the final piece "M" to tie the two sides together. THEN it is stable and you can lift the entire unit and place it behind the toilet..........by one man. However, the stability is not present to keep it against the wall and you MUST install the provided wall anchors. Be sure to have a battery powered drill with a phillips bit to install the back panels. Otherwise be ready to see an orthopedist for another set of wrists. The hinges for the unit were designed by an idiot. This type of cabinet hinge is always provided with SLOTTED mounting holes. This unit has two slotted and two fixed holes. So, if you expect to adjust the hinge up or down with the slotted holes..........well........good luck with that. You get whatever position that the predrilled holes in the sides provide for you and THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT. The manual lies to you with their instruction to adjust the vertical height. Sadly, we have a product that is sold by someone who knows nothing about it and has never assembled it themselves. Quite typical of these Amazon sellers today. Buyer beware. ... show more

I bought this to add storage to my bathroom that has zero storage and it's serving that purpose well. All of the pieces arrived and assembly was mostly easy. I only say mostly easy because three of my parts were mis-labeled. If your parts are all labeled correctly, the instructions are very easy to understand with words and pictures. The hardware is wonderfully packaged in individual bags with different numbers (like Lego). I put it together by myself in a little over an hour, but it would have been faster if I didn't have to stop a few times to figure out if I could proceed without certain parts. In the end, I was able to back up and add the parts in where they were meant to be and it all came together fine. I definitely will stress the importance of wall-mounting this unit (even if you do not have children). I have a habit of ignoring those instructions in other pieces of furniture because I do not have children and don't intend to climb on my furniture. This unit, however, is very top heavy and not the most sturdy on the bottom. I would not feel safe sitting on the toilet if it was not properly mounted to the wall. Mounted, however, it's perfectly stable and secure. My one big complaint about the cabinet is that is has a strong odor. I often see people complain about odors in reviews and know that odors from packaging almost always wear off after a few days, so I delayed writing this review. I have had the cabinet out of the box and fully assembled for two weeks now and it still stinks. It's hard to describe the odor but it's like towels that have soured. I initially thought that was the culprit of the smell in the bathroom, but after several loads of laundry and eventually removing all of the towels from the bathroom (to see if that helped), I smelled the actual cabinet and realized the odor is coming from the wood. It has not dissipated with time, so I don't know that it ever will. I'm just hoping I eventually go nose-blind to it. ... show more
