Riding in SC, I would consider this a 3-season jacket (Fall, Winter, Spring). With only 2 small air vents on the front, there's no way I'd ride with this jacket above 80 degrees. I generally have a hard time finding jackets that are long enough for my arms, and fit snug enough around the chest. I'm 6'5", 195 lbs and the large fits me perfect. Sleeves ride up a tad while riding, but it's tolerable. Armor is ok, however I'd upgrade it to some better protection, but you have to do this with more expensive jackets as well. My only real CON comes from the back protector opening. IT IS WAY too small to stuff a decent back protector in it. You have to rip it a bit. Doesn't effect the jacket, but seems a bit of an oversight. For $50, I just can't fault it. It's a good jacket, not covered in gaudy logos, and does what it's supposed to. ... show more

I am 5'7" 165 lbs. I ordered the medium size based on the chest measurement of 40 inches. I am exactly 40 inches. The medium was too large for me. The length of the sleeves extended down past my wrist. The elbow pads were located below my elbows. In addition, the jacket, although appears very nice, and durable, would seem a bit too hot for me in Hawaii weather (peak of summer in the 90's with relative humidity). Don't get me wrong, the jacket is very well constructed, and nicely designed, however the size and the practicality does not suit what I am looking for in a jacket. First off I just want to say that I do not drive a motorcycle. I bought the jacket because I accidently came across it while searching for a leather jacket. I liked how it looked and it had some good reviews so I bought it. I am very happy that I did because this is a very nice jacket. I have worn it for less than a week and I have gotten more compliments on it then any other jacket I have ever owned. But the most important thing is that we are going into winter in my State and this jacket is warm and it breaks the wind. We just had a winter Noreaster storm here in Maine. The storm had high winds and a crazy mix of driving rain, sleet and snow. When I was driving home in the storm I noticed a car stuck in a parking lot ( there was snow plowed up around it ) so I stopped and helped to push them out...it was raining and sleeting and it took several minutes to get the car out. Then another lady leaving work got in their car and got stuck so I then went over and shoveled and pushed her car and finally got her out after a few minutes ….again standing in the rain with howling winds and a mix of sleet. The jacket kept me warm and dry... I would not say the jacket is 100% waterproof but it is very water repellent and it kept me dry while standing in a fairly steady rain for about 10 minutes. I could feel like the coat was starting to get damp but not enough to go through the outer layer and the inner liner. I am very pleased with this purchase … it looks great, it is warm and I can remove the liner as the seasons change and it is decently water repellent. I removed the back pad but kept the other pads in because they fit nicely and are not very noticeable and I now know if I slip on the ice or snow my elbows have some protection if I fall. I think the pads may even help break the wind and water so I am actually thinking about putting the back pad back in. I will add that when I first put it on I was not sure that I would like it because it does not fit like all my other jackets ( it has more of a custom tailored feel to it because it is not loose and has a waist that fits more snugly with adjustable straps ) but after wearing it for a little while I realized that the fit feels great and it is now my favorite jacket.     • Great fit, comfortable, sturdy, stylish.
Size: Small Color: Red
This jacket fits great, looks stylish, is made w very sturdy fabric, allows comfortable airflow, has several convenient adjustments for a better fit, and the armor pads don't feel bulky. I would give it a 4.5 star review if I could. The elbow pads are a bit loose and tend to sit low on my elbows. They are a bit thin but I guess that is the trade-off for having a more comfortable jacket by they are rated to meet industry standards. The zipper is slightly defective on my jacket (doesn't connect easily at the base). But I can't hold this against Jayefo because they used a premium zipper (ykk) in making the jacket. It's likely a ykk factory default that a little silicone lubricant will probably resolve. Overall I'm very happy with the jacket. The true test will be how it handles in a fall but hopefully I will never have to test that out. I highly recommend this to other cyclists. ... show more

    • Sizing needs work
Size: Medium Color: Orange
To start, this is a very robust jacket that is thick and on par with my HWK jackets (of which I own and use several times a week). It is well made with armor and the features motorcyclists will want in the event of a fall. That said, they need to work on their sizing. Based on the size chart and the measurements we needed, we went with a Medium for my teenage kids to ride on the bike with me or my wife. The jacket was much closer to a large; in fact, I was able to put it on and I am 6ft, 215lbs and usually wear a L or XL in this kind of gear. The medium was far larger than other medium jackets I have got for my wife. Be aware, the size of the medium, was bigger than expected and larger than their measurements. I would guess this is a quality control issue, but I would have liked to have seen a review like this before I bought it. Luckily, my kids are still growing so it will work in the future. Now we just have to decide if we will buy a small or send it back to replace it with a small, both of which are minor hassles. Great price for what you get. ... show more
