My old camping pots were a nonstick variety from many years ago; it was beyond time to upgrade to this lightweight anodized aluminum version with integrated, silicone-coated handles. No “pot grabber” tool needed! (I recommend still using a pot holder with these, however.) The set all fits within the largest pot, except for the frying pan, which goes on the bottom. (See photo.) The set has a nice draw string bag, a larger pot and lid (2.2 liter/74 oz) a smaller pot and lid (1.2 liter/40 oz), a tiny teakettle—So cute! Good for a couple cups of tea at 0.8 liter/27 oz—and a 7.5” frying pan. The frying pan is thicker and coated with what seems like a traditional non/stick coating and has a ridged bottom for good conduction/heat distribution. (See photo.) The other pots are thinner, including the bottoms, but this wasn’t an issue. Things simmered nicely and the pan distributed the heat fine. This set is ideal for 2 people. Haven't yet cooked with this, but upon receiving it I looked it over and was impressed by the workmanship of this kit. The overall kit nests within larger pieces, so you can fit 2 pots, one frying pan, one tea kettle/water kettle and the lids into a convenient carrying case. The material feels thick and doesn't flex/bend in the hand. And what is really handy is that the frying pan has anti-stick coating - this will make cleanup very easy. Additionally, the handles are covered in silicone to prevent burns when picking up hot pots and pans. This kit is so good I may keep it in the vehicle as part of an emergency kit. Verdict: I would order this again if given the opportunity. It's that good. ... show more

Some camping cookware has plastic/ rubberized coating on the handles. These have a nice, thick layer of silicone to prevent burns. And, as it should, the "frying pan" has a wonderful ridged bottom for even heat distribution. It is also non-stick. All of the cookware fit nicely together and come in a mesh carrying bag. I'm not sure that you would take this much cookware with you if you were backpacking, but they are remarkably lightweight. So you could take them along if that was important. This is a great little set for the money, it really holds up to the heat well, non stick, and has heat proof handles, all store inside each other so it doesn't take up much space, Without being too small to fit on any camp stove you may have.

What a great set of several cooking apparatuses. The aluminum makes it very light (with the mesh carry bag, sub-2 pounds), the silicone handles on the pot and pans are nice and help mitigate heat, and even the storage bag is well made. Everything nests together very compact, considering all of the different things you get, and especially at this price point it's a fantastic value. ... show more

I WAS IMPRESSED WHEN I FIRST TOOK THESE OUT THE FIRST TIME & I'M SITTING THERE LOOKING AT A DELIGHTFUL ARRAY OF HANDSOME OFF GRID COOKWARE. IT WAS NICE TO SEE A VERY PRACTICAL & COMPACT KIT WITH 2 POTS W/LIDS, KETTLE & FRYING PAN (SMALLISH SIZE) & WEBBED CLOTH CARRYING BAG. YOU DON'T NEED ANY OF THOSE CHEAP, 'ADD ON' PLASTIC SILVERWARE & BOWL ACCESSORIES SOME KITS OFFER TO RUIN THE MOMENT ANYWAY. I WANTED TO QUICKLY TEST A POT OUT & SEE HOW IT PERFORMED. I USED THE SMALLER POT & COOKED OATMEAL ON A ELECTRIC STOVE. IT HEATED UP QUICKLY (WHAT I LOVE ABOUT ALUMINIM). I USED A METAL SPOON BOTH TO STIR IT & EAT OUT OF THE PAN WITH.
