I live in Ohio and the winters are sometimes mild or they can be very cold and snowy. I have a few pair of what they call weatherproof boots including Totes and Call it Spring, a division of Aldo. These are more expensive brands, but they serve a purpose in the winter weather. So I really don't need another pair of winter boots, but when I saw these I was immediately drawn to them and I couldn't pass up the price. I wasn't sure what size I should order since every brand has a different fit. I chose to buy my usual boot size of 7, and when they came I immediately tried them on and they fit. And I will still be able to wear heavy socks if necessary. As soon as I put my foot inside them, I felt the softness of the fur. (Which is not too thick that it might make your feet sweat) The fur covers all of the inside including under the tongue and around the top. These boots come up about 6 inches above my ankle which is good for warmth, but I also don't have to worry about getting snow down inside my boots. Unless of course, the snow is more than 6 inches deep. If you live in an area where you get alot of snow, you will need at least a mid calf boot. I have not had the opportunity to try them out in cold and snowy weather, so I can't vouch for whether they are actually waterproof. I have had other boots that claimed they were waterproof, yet I felt my feet get cold and wet. Weatherproof doesn't necessarily mean waterproof. What I found as the most exciting feature of these boots was the velcro closure. They are much easier to tighten and loosen than adjusting laces. I noticed the sole is not quite the quality as my most expensive boots, but I know I will be wearing them alot anyway, especially when there is not alot of snow and ice. These boots are so cute on my feet, love the style and I can't wait until the cold weather to wear them. I highly recommend these boots for those people who live in winter climates that are not so severe. They are lightweight so they don't feel heavy around your ankles, so I think they will be comfortable to walk in and yet give you support. So if you want an inexpensive, super cute style with comfort and of course at a great price, these boots need to be in your closet. You will definitely rock in these boots. I just hope they live up to my expectations. Only time will tell. I have several pair of boots for different weather conditions. So I hope you find these are the right boots for you. Side note ---- These boots don't come in a shoe box, but each boot is wrapped in plastic.

I purchased these boots in anticipation of winter that is fast approaching. I wanted some winter boots that were warm, comfortable, and stylish. That's not too much to ask, right? Well, these boots met all three of my wishes. They're the perfect winter boot and I'll be wearing them for the next few months non-stop. In case you're wondering, they run true to size and are easy to take on and off.

Nice style. Non-slip. Great quality. Light weight. Wish they came in half sizes, tho, as they run a little small. A bit hard to get on cuz they’re a little tight, but once I got ‘em on, they felt ok. Live the fur inside and Velcro closure.

This is the 3rd pair of winter boots I purchased. I guess when they say, Third time's a charm, it's true. It's the first time for me to purchase a winter boot since I don't need them in Hawaii. It's easy to put on and very soft and warm. I will have to test how warm it will keep my feet when I go to Anchorage. Amazon suggested I go with a 7 1/2 but I went with an 8 and I am so happy I did. I'm still wearing them while I'm writing this review lol... 1/8/2024 - ***UPDATE*** Boots worked perfect in the snow. My feet did not get cold. Stepped in some mushy, wet snow and it stayed dry. Worked great in deep snow too. It did slip a little on hard packed snow but not where you would fall. We took a walking tour at a reindeer farm, my husband and daughter complained about their feet getting cold half way thru the tour. I was fine. All in all...this boots are great.

These are the best boots I've ever had. Warm and comfortable. If you're into thick socks, get half size larger. I have leg problems and these are light weight.

I ordered my normal shoe size and they fit great. If you're going to wear super thick or double layered socks you might go up a half size. But the inside is warm, soft and fuzzy. It hasn't snowed yet so I can't comment on how they function in the snow but I have high hopes.
